Emma's POV
Turns out the date I had with Jax was one of the best dates I've ever been on. There was any awkward or dull moments with Jax. I laughed almost every second with him. Whereas on dates with Daniel, I'd listen to talk about The Sharks or him trying to please my dad but never succeeding on every date. Eventually, I'd just nod my head listening to him talking praying the food would come out faster.
Jax drove us home and I began humming, The Middle by Zedd, Maren Morris, and Grey. However, Jax surprised me once he belted out the chorus. He teasingly threw quick glances at me, pretending to be sing to me as he was driving.
🎶 "Oh baby, why don't you just meet me in the middle? I'm losing my mind just a little. So why don't you just meet me in the middle? In the middle! Baby, why don't you just meet me in the middle? I'm losing my mind just a little. So why don't you just meet me in the middle? In the middle, oh!" 🎶 Jax surprised me. He was a really good singer. Jesus, this boy has so many talents! He's a greater swimmer, he's a really great singer, and he's super smart and driven.

"Thanks for the date, Jax. I had fun." I smiled and wrapped my arms around Jax, whilst he placed his hands on my waist and placed a kiss to my forehead.
"Anytime you need a fun time, Emma Alonso. I'm here."
