I walked down the street, searching for Xigbar and Demyx. Knowing them, they would be goofing off and not actually working. Soon, I came across a street with many entertainment sources. Arcades, bowling allies, shopping centers, bars, etcetera, etcetera. Perfect.
I walked into the arcade, knowing Demyx's love for games and Xigbar's need to make Demyx happy. I walked through quickly, scanning each row of games and quickly found Demyx and Xigbar. They were standing by an older arcade game, extre, ely easy to notice due to Demyx's shouting of "Ohhh!!! Oh oh! I win, You loose, haha!"
"Demyx, Xigbar, I need to talk to you." I said, ripping their attention away from the game. "What is it?" Xigbar asked, giving Demyx more money for he game. "Well, you're not the greatest choice, but the best one available... I needed to ask you guys for advice." I said quickly, looking down slightly. "What about, Kiddo?" he asked, patting my head like I was a little boy.
"Stop that, I'm not in a very good mood right now." I said, bating his hand away. "Anyway..." I said, drawing the word out. "I was going to ask you... Well, there's this person. And I like them... alot." I began nervously. "And, well... We were getting closer, like in a romantic way, but I told them no, even though I really want to say yes." I said quickly, trying to get it all out before I changed my mind.
"oh, wow, It's about Axel isn't it?" Xigbar asked me, draping his arm across my shoulders protectively, as a mother hen would to her chicks. I looked up at him with surprise, my eyes wide. "Y-yeah..." I half whispered, looking down. "So, why'd ya turn him down?" he asked, looking down at me with sympathy.
"Well... I don't really know." I said slowly, trying to figure it out. "I guess... I guess I didn't want to end our friendship. Pluss, we're both guys. It's wrong, right?" I asked, not really sure of myself. "Well, not necicarily." He began slowly. "Isn't against the rules or something?" I asked him, looking up with sadness. "What rules?" he asked, confused. "Ya know... Those ones that guy made. God, was it?" I asked, truely hoping it wasn't against the rules. "Oh, that. I don't really know. But the way I see it, he's gonna love us no matter what. Well, that is, if he has any mercy for the heartless." He said, patting my shoulder gently.
"Well... It's still kinda strange... I don't want to ruin our friendship still." I said, leaning my head back against his arm. He sighed. "Look, Roxas. Watch this." he said, pulling away from me. He walked over to Demyx, grabbed him away from the game, and kissed him full-forcedly on the lips. He let go of him and walked back to me, Demyx returning to his game as if it was completely normal.
"See? And even when we aren't going out, we're still friends." He said, lookign down at me meaningfully. I thought about this for a while, then finall understood what I wanted to do.
I needed to talk to Axel.
