I had arrived at Yuki's house shortly after 3pm. It was nice to get off the train, because my butt was unbelievably numb. I stretched and plopped myself down on the couch as Yuki brought in some snacks. "So how's Sam?" I paused and plastered a fake smile on my face.
"Oh, he's fine. The apartment is pretty nice too." I replied, tugging down the sleeve of my sweater. Yuki sighed and shook her head.
"Please don't lie.." I held it all in since we moved and at that moment, the dam broke. I started sobbing violently, causing Yuki to wrap me in a hug.
"He was so abusive at the start and even though he said he would stop, I'm just... I'm just not happy!" I had to tell someone what I was dealing with as soon as possible, for fear that I might have exploded. I lifted my head up and looked at her. "He's hurting me.." Yuki stood up and paced around a bit.
"We need to set him up.. Why don't you go visit Taurtis while I think of how to do this." I nodded and wiped my eyes. I stood up and hugged her again before heading to the door. I was just about to head out when Yuki stopped me. "Taurtis really needs you right now. Don't worry about me." She smiled and waved me off. I thanked her and started to Taurtis's house.

I knocked on the door and waited. The door opened, revealing a shocked Taurtis. "Hi Taurtis.." He looked at the ground and looked back up, raising an eyebrow. "Why are you here? Won't Sam be mad at you?" I blushed and averted his quizzical gaze.
"I... I may have lied.." He shook his head, before glancing at my sleeves. I knew he was going to find out, so I nudged him inside, sealing the door.
"Y/n?" I broke down once more, this time finding my comfort in Taurtis's grasp. He comforted me more than Yuki, truthfully. Only because I was in love with Taurtis. He had a unique and calming scent, one that resembled that of sandalwood and musk. As I snuggled into him, I felt myself relax.
"S-Sam has been... Hurting me." I mumbled, my meek voice muffled by his shirt. I felt Taurtis flinch and tighten his grip on me. He firmly, but not harshly, pulled me off of him and rolled my sleeves up, revealing deep purple and blue marks around my arm. He lifted my chin up and made me look at him.
"Why didn't you just tell me?" He questioned, a sense of pity washed over his face. I inhaled sharply and explained to him about Sam being very clingy and always standing over me, not allowing me to contact him, and being abusive.

I was pulled into a tight embrace and the warm feeling of Taurtis's lips on mine made me melt on the inside. I kissed him back softly, enjoying the peaceful moment. He released me and brushed a stray lock of hair from my face away. I blushed and Taurtis smiled at me. "I've been wanting to do this ever since we started dating." Taurtis stated, checking his phone for something. He smiled at the screen and put his phone back before glancing at me. "We are going to take a trip around...mm, say 6?" I nodded and asked him where we were going, but he didn't answer.
"Well, I should probably go back to Yuki's house.. See you later.." I smiled and kissed Taurtis lightly before heading out the door. I excitedly made my way back to my temporary residence. I practically barged into the house, causing Yuki to wake up abruptly from her nap. She shot up and ran over to me.

"WHAT, WHO, WHAT HAPPENED?!" She had a death grip on my shoulders. I pried her fingers off and smiled like an idiot.
"Taurtis asked me out!" Yuki and were giggling like anime schoolgirls. She started babbling about my hair and makeup and the cute shoes I was going to wear. I zoned out about halfway through until she smack my shoulder. "Ow!!"
"Pay attention! You said that you were leaving around 6? We need to start on the hair now, I mean it's already 4:45!" She grabbed my arm and pulled me upstairs, leading me to the bathroom.

By 5:15, I had some super pretty curls, framing my face pretty well. I decided to go with some soft makeup, just some pink lips and some shimmery champagne eye shadow. Yuki had given me a dress that she hadn't worn. It was a black dress with vintage looking roses on it. She also gave me some red heels and a clutch. I had sprayed on some perfume that smelled really good. Even Yuki pointed out that it smelled like chocolate raspberry and marshmallows. I was all ready and couldn't wait. I waited for Taurtis to pick me up and in the meantime talked with Yuki about Sam.

The door rang and I knew it was time. "We can talk more later. Have fun!" She hugged me and said goodbye. I closed the door behind me and blushed when Taurtis kissed me.
"You look... Beautiful..." I giggled and thanked him. He carefully took my hand and started to walk me to the restaurant. The cool crisp air felt great on my skin and the late evening sky made Taurtis stand out like an angel. We had reached the restaurant and got our table. After ordering, Taurtis had started to blush. I asked him what was wrong, and he took a deep breath.

"Y/n.. I always strive to give you everything you deserve.. If you ever need me, I want you let me know.. And so, I want to give you a piece of me for you carry with you, so you know I'm always there." He pulled out a little white box and opened it. I gasped. It was a gold heart necklace resting saintly on a gold chain. I felt my cheeks grow warm as I noticed people staring, occasionally letting out a cute 'aww'. I touched the charm carefully and Taurtis stood up. "May I?" I nodded and lifted my hair up. I felt his warm fingers gently slide over my neck and clasp the cold chain closed, his fingers lingering for a few seconds. I let my hair drop and stood up to face him.
"I love you.." I reached up and brushed his hair from his face and kissed his forehead, standing on my toes. I always had to stand on my toes a bit to kiss him. He picked me up and held me, which I normally feel uncomfortable in, but it felt right this time. He looked at me and kissed me, and I could feel him smile in the kiss.

~Time Skip~

We arrived back at Taurtis's house around 8. Taurtis had carried me while I held my shoes. I giggled as he placed me on the floor in his house. "My feet didn't hurt that bad." He shrugged and picked me up and twirled me. Taurtis put me down once more and stared down at me. I leaned into him and he pulled me closer. I snuggled into him. We stood like that for a while. After a few minutes, Taurtis had let me go and told me to wait in the living room. He walked upstairs, leaving me and my thoughts alone. He returned shortly with a blind fold.
"I want to take you to a special place."
"Please don't tell me that your going to take me to some kind of Fifty Shades room.." I laughed and he shook his head.
"Definitely not." He proceeded to tie the blindfold and pick me up. He carried me out into the night air. It felt like eternity before we arrived.

"Take it off y/n.." He whispered. I untied the knot.
