New Start

I finished packing my stuff and greeted Sam. He hugged me and smiled. "Y/n? Are you okay?" I nodded and hugged him back. There was no use in resisting. I smiled softly and whispered.
"Yeah.. Just a little shaken up about what happened..."  Sam clucked his tongue and waved it off. I ran a hand through my hair and went off to grab my bag. I wondered how Taurtis was. I just couldn't believe all that had happened. My thoughts were interrupted by arms around my waist. "Oh! Sorry Sam, didn't see you come in.." He grabbed my bag and smiled again. If only this was a dream.
"Its ok. I understand, you've had a rough time." He headed out of the room and I looked in a nearby mirror. I looked so frail, like I was going to shatter at any moment. I brushed my hair out and met up with Sam on the porch. He held our bags and tickets.
"Y/n?" I glanced up at him.
"Yes?"
"I hope you like Tokyo." If my heart wasn't shattered already, I'm sure that it would have exploded then. Moving so far away from everyone. Yuki, Pete, Carl, and everyone else. Sam must have read my mind because he wrapped me in a tight embrace. "We can always visit... I won't be that guy who holds a girl back from what she loves.." I sniffled and snuggled closer to him. Sam told me that we would be late for our train, so we headed off. Away from my comforts. Away from my friends. Away from my life.

The train ride had just begun and I already was bored. Luckily, when we would get past the station, I would get to see some parts of the town that I never saw. Sam found it lucky that there were two seats available seats next to one another. I found it unlucky. To sit with the beast that has haunted my nightmares and tarnished relationships, made me feel worse.
At one point, Sam had brought up the topic I was hoping he would avoid. The whole situation that occurred about 2 nights ago. "I just wanted to let you in on something..." He leaned in close, hoping for no snoopy people up front to hear. "I know why you didn't stab me..." I paused and stared at him.
"You are scared of me y/n. And don't you dare pull the 'I wasn't scared' card." He gripped my wrists and held them together. I scoffed.
"Why would I be scared?" I wanted to slap a hand over my mouth. Sam glared at me, piercing me with those dagger-like eyes of his. He threw my wrists down and turned away from me. Part of me wanted to confess the truth. It's true. After seeing what he did to Taurtis and how angry he gets, if I had even tried to hurt him, it would backfire. He's stronger than I am and would probably dodge the attacks. Not to mention that I didn't see where the knife was. His back was to me and I wasn't going to put my hands all over him, trying to find a piece of metal.

I don't remember why my brain decided to scoff and be rude, but I was going to pay for that. When we had reached our new house, Sam shoved me in and locked the door behind him. "HOW DARE YOU DISRESPECT ME!" I felt the stinging sensation of the slap and the painful thump of my body hitting the floor. Sam picked me up and held me to his chest as my body wracked with pain and sobs. "Shh... I never, ever, want to hurt you, but you choose to be rude." He kissed my forehead and led me to my room. "Goodnight y/n..." Sam whispered, before shutting the door. I didn't even care about sleep. I wanted my old life back. I knew that I wouldn't be able to fight Sam. He had everyone fooled that he is so sweet. No one would believe me. And I definitely couldn't confront Sam because I didn't need more pain. I guess I'm finally understanding what people, mean when they say,

"Snitches get stitches.."

1- yes I didn't feel like writing in the time skips, because I tried and I failed. :p
2- the beginning is supposed to be sound frail and almost hopeless, so I attempted this by stopping tons of feelings that I normally put in to show how your world is at that moment.
