Say You Love Me

I untied he knot. My eyes were shut tightly even after the cloth dropped from my face. I opened them up and I stumbled backwards, crashing into Taurtis. "Do you like it?" I couldn't even describe how gorgeous it was.

It was a little bench near the edge of a small cliff that overlooked the city. Flowers were used as decoration on the bench, giving it a floral touch of cuteness. I nodded and turned to face him. "I love it.. Thank you for taking me here.." I said, kissing him. His arms wrapped around my waist as I wrapped mine around his neck. We stayed like that for a while before he took my hand and led me to the bench. I sat down and Taurtis joined me. I snuggled into him as we watched the stars twinkle. The lights of the city were so mesmerizing. The crickets chirping was soft and accompanied Taurtis slow and steady breathing. We remained like that for quite a long time before Taurtis said we should go. I agreed and we walked back. I noticed how late it was, almost 11. "Oh no.."
Taurtis glanced over at me.
"What's wrong?"
"Yuki had to go somewhere and I don't have a key to her house.." I ran a finger through my loose curls.
"Hey, why don't you stay here for the night?" I thanked him and hugged him again. He chuckled and led me into the house. "Why don't you follow me to grab a drink while I make some popcorn." I said OK and followed him.

"So, what's with the the champagne?" I asked, holding up a rose gold bottle.
"Ah, well when I moved into the house, it was a complementary gift." He seemed almost embarrassed to have alcohol in his house. It wasn't uncommon, to be truthful. Everyone at the school had at least one bottle of something. In fact, in our town, 18 is the legal drinking age so of course it was normal.
"We need to save it though." I cocked my head as he turned towards me, popping a piece into his mouth. "I mean, we need to celebrate when Sam gets put away." It hit me.
"Yuki told you?" I felt my shoulders drop. I felt bad because Sam was my friend, but he's changed. Taurtis wrapped his arm around me and kissed my forehead.
"Yeah, but it's okay. He needs to go away." I nodded and wiped a loose tear away.

We headed into the living room and turned on the TV. After a long search, we settled on Hachi. I snuggled into Taurtis again, listening to his heartbeat.

Taurtis POV

I stretched as the credits started to roll. I looked down and noticed that y/n had passed out on me. I smiled and watched her chest rise and fall with each breath. So peaceful looking.. I carefully picked her up and carried her upstairs to my bedroom. I laid her down on the sheets and kissed her forehead. I turned out the lights and shut the door. I headed downstairs and decided to watch some more TV. It hadn't been long before I had fallen asleep as well.

Your POV
He slapped me hard, across the cheek. "You are worthless! You left to see him, I know you did! You're nothing but a whore!" He forcefully pulled my shorts down and tugged at my shirt. I was sobbing by the time he grabbed my hair. He pinned my arms above my head and smirked.

I shot up in a panic. I begin to cry as the images of the dream flooded my head. I  looked at the clock. 3:30AM. I got up and stretched. I needed to change so I grabbed one of his shirts and a pair of his boxers. I couldn't help the blush that crept across my face as I changed. They were kinda big, but it would do.

I glanced at the couch from the stairs. Taurtis was asleep, which was super adorable. I carefully walked over to him. I shook him and his eyes fluttered open. "T-Taurtis..." My voice cracked. He sat up and pulled me into a hug as I started sobbing. "Please come sleep with me... I've been having nightmares about him.." Taurtis shushed me softly and kissed me.
"Come on.." He picked me up and carried me back upstairs to his room. He laid me down and climbed in next to me.
"I'm sorry but it was too realistic for me..." I sniffled.
"No more talk of darkness, Forget these wide-eyed fears. I'm here, nothing can harm you..my words will warm and calm you." He whispered. I closed my eyes and laid my head on his stomach.
"Say you need me with you, now and always. promise me that all you say is true -that's all I ask of you.." I replied, feeling much more calmer.

"Say you love me.." I said, looking up at him.
"You know I do..." He smiled.
"Love me," I brushed his hair from his eyes. "That's all I ask of you.."
I leaned in as did he. I felt our lips touch and melt into the most passionate kiss we've had. It felt like nothing else mattered, like my problems didn't exist. I drifted off into sleep, and the last thing I felt was a kiss and I heard Taurtis whisper.

"Goodnight y/n... I love you.."
