At the door

Maya POV
I woke up in a cold sweat. I had the weirdest dream ever. I was in a dark, hot room. I looked down at myself, and realized I was only in my bra and underwear. I looked at my body. Scars, all over. I tried to move, but then I realized something else- I was being pinned to the wall. The man who was holding me said "This is what you get for being born." He started to beat me, and by then I was to paralyzed to even move. Then after recalling my dream I remebered-
"This was a memory not a dream" I silently whispered to myself. "Kermit"

Oh my goodness! I'm supposed to be going to be Lucas' house to start our project at 10:00. I looked over at my alarm clock and thought, "shoot." It was 12:00. I got up and didn't feel like dressing up for Lucas, so I just threw something on. (A/N outfit above^)

I walked over to his house and knocked on his door. He opened it and-
