The ABD (Automatic Bell Dispenser) is found in the post office and hut on the Island. You can earn interest by putting at least 200 bells in it and receive .5% of the amouunt you put per month and up to a max of 999,999 bells. You get a letter in the mailbox on the first day of each month from the post office about the interest earned.
If you want the max amount each month, you need to put 199,999,800 bells in savings (about 20 million bells).
If you deposit certain amounts, you get exclusive items, such as:
100,000 bells: tissue box
500,000 bells: letter set
1,000,000 bells: piggy bank
5,000,000 bells: aluminum briefcase
10,000,000 bells: post office poster
20,000,000 bells: safe
50,000.000 bells: postman hat
100,000,000 bells: ABD (Automatic Bell Dispenser)
