Chapter 5

*Jasey's p.o.v*

I wandered into the kitchen to see a note taped to the fridge.

Jas,

Ive gone to the supermarket, be back soon!

Oh and want to go the movies tonight? We haven’t gone in ages :P

I went back to my room and got ready so I didn’t have to bother changing later. Once finished I went back to the kitchen and made myself toast. I walked back into the living room plopping myself in front of the TV. I put Friends on and started eating. It had been a week since I had met the All Time Low gang, they had texted regularly, it was nice to know that they actually liked me and didn’t hate me...like I was expecting. I phone stared vibrating so I searched around for it. I found it under the sofa. How the hell it got there I don’t know. I turned it over to see I had an incoming call. Alex.

I clicked accept and put it up to my hear. “Hello?”

“Hey Jas, it’s Alex”

“I have caller ID you know” I joked.

“Oh, yeah” he lightly laughed down the phone and I just giggled back. I plopped myself back down in the front of the TV crossing my legs under me waiting for him to continue. “I was just wondering if you wanted to hang out tomorrow or something?”

“Um, well I actually have plans tomorrow, I said to Aby we could go shopping. I need clothes for tour. You could come with if you want?” I was desperate for new clothes and Aby needed last minute things for her job. She works as a tour guide so she’s gone most of the time, but now I won’t be stuck in alone if I was touring. She was actually leaving the day after tomorrow, so I was on my own for a few days but that wouldn’t be so bad.

“Shopping? Not my thing.” He laughed. “But we could meet for lunch and you could bring Aby, then I guess if you still have shopping to do, I’ll put up with you dragged me around the shops”

“Yeah alright then we’ll do that, are the other guys coming?” I actually missed them, I had only met them once but they made me feel so welcomed.

“um-uh yeah” I heard someone call his name from the other end of the phone, they said something about hurrying up, he muttered an okay to them before returning back to our conversation. “I have to go, but I’ll see you tomorrow at, say 2?”

“Yeah that’s fine, see you then” I smiled, even though he couldn’t see me.

“Okay, bye Jasey”

“Bye Alex” I hung up and threw my phone onto the cushion next to me. I didn’t know I was smiling like an idiot until Aby walked through the door.

“What's up with you?” I looked at her and she had a smirk on her face. She put the bags down on the kitchen counter, came back to the living room and sat opposite me.

“Um, nothing why?”

“Oh come on, your smiling like a cheshire cat! Whats happened? Tell me!” she sounded like a little kid.

“Alex just phoned-” before I could say anymore she had interrupted me.

“I should’ve known it would have something to do with Alex” she was smirking at me once again.

“What?” I was confused, what did she mean?

“Well whenever you talk about Alex, which is a lot but I don’t think you realise you do it, your always smiling. You have a crush on him don’t you?”  she was still smirking. Did I have a crush on Alex? No I couldn’t have one, ive only known him, a week?
