"Dad?"

"That's me" He smirked and ran up the stairs. My feet moved quickly as I ran into the bedroom, slamming the door behind me and flicking the lock across. I quickly plugged my phone in so I could call Alex. He thumped on the other side of the door, calling my name over and over again. "Come out Jasey" He called. "You need to be taught a lesson, you don't go treating my friends like that" He snickered. I gulped and tears streamed down my face.

"Go" I choked out.

"Nuh uh" He chuckled. I felt his weight press against the other side of the door. My phone flashed from the other side of the room, telling me it had turned back on. I picked it up and my shaky fingers unlocked it and called Alex.

"Hey, I’m on my way-"

"Alex help me, he's here. My father’s here and I can’t- help me Alex" I cried. The line went dead and I cried harder. A few minutes went by and he was still stood on the other side of the wood, taunting me.

"You have to come out sooner or later" He laughed. My gaze caught the window. I know it was high up but it was my only way out. I quietly opened the window and I was half way out when the door was forced open. My father stormed towards me, pulling a gun out of his pocket. I heard sirens come from behind me which made my heart beat quicker. I felt my foot slipping on the slippery window ledge. He smirked and his finger hovered over the trigger.

"You're so fucking dead" He growled. My footing went and I fell the exact time I heard the sound of a gunshot fire. I felt a pain spread through me as I hit the ground. My head throbbed with the impact it had from hitting the concrete floor. From the corner of my eye I saw a group of police enter the house, more approaching me. I saw Alex's figure coming closer, and that's when I blacked out.

I ran from my car and towards the house. Groups of police surrounded the house as my girlfriend stood on the window ledge. My body froze as I saw her foot starting to slip; she tried multiple times to regain her balance but failed. A gun shot sounded and Jasey's body fell from the building. I ran towards her, pushing my way through the police that had now entered the house. Her eyes shut as I reached her.

"Jasey, wake up baby come on" I cried. I heard people around me talking to me, but none of the words sunk in. I just cried and tried shaking her awake. Her skin was pale and cold, only a pair of jeans and a tank top covering her body. I was pulled away and a paramedic took my place.

"Sir?" Another medic approached me. I only looked up, not saying a word. "She wasn't shot, but her head did have a pretty hard impact with the floor. We're taking her to the hospital you can come if you’d like?" He said sympathetically. I nodded and quickly ran across the road to leave the dogs with my neighbour, which she happily agreed to. I jumped in the back of the ambulance and clutched Jasey's hand. As we arrived at the hospital, she was rushed in and I was made to wait in the small waiting room.

Hours. It had been hours since I’d been sat here. I'd managed to get Aby's number and call her and she assured me she'd be here as soon as she can. I'd sent a text to all of the guys, including Jaime as I knew they were close. I ran my hands through my hair and sighed. Suddenly Aby ran through the door with tears streaming down her face. I stood and she ran into me, we stood hugging each other until a doctor walked in.

"Alex Gaskarth?" He asked and I nodded. "She's still unconscious, but other than that it's looking like she's going to be alright" I sighed with relief, as did Aby. "She cracked the back of her head open, but we stitched it up"
