Paint You Wings (All Time Low)

Chapter 31

*Jasey p.o.v*

I was sat for a total of 11 hours in the small room, being interviewed by police. Alex was told to wait outside, which, much to my displeasure he had to do it. I collected the jacket I had discarded a few hours earlier, and slid it on. 

"That should be all for now, we'll be in touch" Police officer Tate said, I nodded and shook his hand. I opened the heavy door to see my boyfriend passed out in the small plastic chair situated against the wall. Flyzik was stood on the other side of the room talking to another officer. 

"Alex, wake up" I nudged him. He just groaned and slumped further into the chair. "Hey, time to go" I nudged him again, a bit harder this time. He slowly opened his eyes, adjusting to the bright lighting. 

"You're out! Oh I didn't mean to fall asleep" He said tiredly, pulling me onto his lap. "Are you okay?" He asked and tucked a loose piece of hair behind my ear. I nodded and kissed his cheek.

"Can we just go back?" He nodded and led us over to Matt. 

"Okay, thank you" Matt spoke to the police woman. 

"What did she say?" Alex asked him as we left the large building. 

"It's looking good; they have tons of evidence against him. They are also looking into the subject of your father, but they haven't managed to find anything yet" We both nodded and a taxi that was waiting outside took us back to the busses. Matt tapped in the code and the door opened. Everyone was asleep in their bunks so we decided to go to bed, it being almost 4 in the morning. "Try and get some sleep guys, concert tomorrow" Matt reminded us as he got into his bunk. I changed into a pair of PJ bottoms and one of Alex's large tops. I tilted my head in confusion as Alex kept his shirt on, pairing it with a pair of sweats. His usual sleepwear was his boxers; I shook it off and climbed in beside him.

"C'mon Jas, get up" I heard. I felt someone shake me a little. I groaned and turned over to see Cass stood next to the bunk, no Alex beside me. 

"What time is it?” I mumbled. 

"3pm, the guys are about to leave for the signing. Matt said you can go do your techy stuff with Grieco now if you want" I nodded and Cass went into the front to say goodbye to Rian, I mentally awed as Rian kissed her then knelt to kiss her bump. Alex walked over and kissed my cheek then they all l left. Cass, Grieco and I walked through the car park and into the venue where Evan and Jeff were already standing. They all looked at me with pity, I hated it. I did my thing with Alex's guitar, Zack's bass and I started with Jack's until I noticed the sign on the back. I nearly didn't bother to read it at all, thinking it was one of his lame signs. I felt tears prick my eyes with happiness as I read it. 'We love you Jasey!' It read. I smiled slightly and took out my phone to take a picture. While I had my phone out I texted him.

To: Barakat!

I saw your sign, thank you. I love you all too! x

I opened the twitter app and wrote a new tweet, joining the picture to it.

I sighed and tuned it and not long after the guys came bounding onto the stage. "Would it be alright if I went and visited Josh after the set has finished?" I asked Matt. He nodded and I exited the stage to call Josh.

"Hey Jas!" A voice spoke.

"Dylan?" I asked. 

"That's me!" He laughed. "Josh is in the shower." I nodded, then realised he couldn’t even see me.
