Paint You Wings (All Time Low)

Chapter 16

After another hour of shopping we'd managed to get the camera for Zack, I'd also got him a frame with the photo of us we'd had back when we were younger. The both of us sat on a fence by a large field we would often go to. Zack's arm draped over my shoulder and mine somewhat over his. A little dog in the crook of my other arm.

(flashback)

I knocked on Zack's door waiting for him so answer.

"Hello Jasey!" Zack's mum chimed when the door had opened.

"Um is Zack here?"

"He is, but we're actually going to the park"

My face fell a little as I was excited to spend the day with him. I scuffed my shoes on the floor.

"Oh okay" I turned to walk off before she called me back.

"Unless you want to come?" She asked with a smile on her face.

"Um I wouldn't want to be in the way" I said quietly.

"You wouldn't! We all enjoy your company. Come on" She gently pulled me into the living room. I was greeted by a small dog bouncing around my feet.

"Jasey!" Zack's brother and father called together.

I smiled and stroked the small dog.

"He's our grandma's dog, if you're wondering." Zack's older brother told me, I nodded and petted the dog then stood up.

"Zack's in his room, you can go get him if you want then we'll leave" Zack's dad smiled at me. I took off for the staircase.

I had been in Zack's house an endless amount of times, his family always welcomed we with open arms. They were kind of like my second family. I had known Zack since I was 5, because our mothers were close. I could hear the soft strumming of guitar strings coming from Zack's room.

I knocked on the door before opening it.

"Hey Jas!" He smiled. Placing his guitar back on the stand and enveloping e in a hug. "What are you doing here?"

I sat on the end of his bed, crossing my legs Indian style.

"Well I came to see if you wanted to hang out but your mom said you were going to the park and she invited me to come along, thats okay right?" I asked. He grinned and nodded.

We got to the park that was only small, and surrounded by a huge field of grass. Zack's father and brother were playing with the small dog (who I had been told is called Toby) His mom walking around with a camera hanging from her neck, snapping pictures every now and then; this is where Zack gets his passion for photography from. Zack and I on the swings.

After a while we decided to head back to his parents. We slowly walked back, the dog lead in my hand, the other end attached to the collar of the dog. We had stopped so Zack's brother could go back retrieve his phone he had left on the field. Zack sat on the fence as I joined him, sitting next to him. Toby on his back legs as he tried jumping up on my legs. I bent down and picked him up, placing him on my lap.

"Aw, let me take a picture!" Zack's mom chirped.

Zack swung his arm over my shoulder, me doing the same while holding Toby.

"Smile!" She sung.

We both grinned, waiting for the picture to be taken.

(end of flashback)

"How old were you two there?" Alex asked as I held the photo in my hand.

"I was 9 and Zack was 10, nearly 11 I think" I smiled.

When we decided to go back after, it was after we had food and we had more shopping bags. I had 3 full ones (which Alex made sure he paid for) and he had 4.

"We're back!" Alex yelled as he opened the bus door. No one replied so we looked around. "No one's here" He laughed.

I saw a little note stuck on the table so I moved from my spot to read it.

We've all gone out to look around, make sure you're at the signing at 4:00

Matt + everyone

"What's the time?" I asked Alex who looked at his phone to check.

"Shit it's 3:50!"

We grabbed out shades and phones and ran towards the signing tent.

"There you are!" Matt shouted as we looked for the tent. Alex grabbed my hand and ran towards Matt, giving me a quick kiss and taking the seat between Jack and Zack. I sat on the chair behind them all for a while before my butt got numb so I excused myself and went to look around.

"Jasey!" A girly voice shouted. I turned to see the table I was next to was WATIC's.

"Hey guys!"

I got a 'hey jasey' from them all. I stood on the end of the table next to Jordan. I talked to them all for a while. I talked to Tay about Alex. I talked to Jordan about the girl he told me he had a crush on. I joked with Cameron, Rob and Mike. I said my goodbyes and went back to the ATL tent.

There were a crowd of fans in front of the table so I slipped around the back and through that way. I pushed my shades back up as they were slipping down my nose and stood next to Matt, who was standing at the side of the table, and Cass who was sat on a chair there. I pulled up a chair and sat next to Cass, crossing my legs under me.

"You're back!" Alex grinned.

"I was talking to Tay, Jordan, Cameron, Mike and Rob for a while." I smiled.

Alex turned his attention to the fans in front of him so I dived into a conversation with Cass.

"Are you two dating?" A girl's voice asked from in front of Alex.

"Who?" He replied with a smug look on his face. I looked up at her. She wasn't the shortest of people, but not the tallest either. She had long bright red hair, her fringe clipped back. A Bring Me The Horizon tank top and jeans. She gave a genuine smile as she pointed to me.

"As a matter of fact, we are" Alex grinned, blowing me a kiss.

"You two are so cute together. Tumblr's going crazy about you two" I blushed a little as she moved on and passed the top she wanted signed to Jack.

The 'are you two dating' question came up a few times from curious fans. Alex saying 'yes' every time. As me and Cass talked about her new song, the question came up again.

"Yes, she's my girlfriend." Alex happily replied to the girl he was talking to.

"Can we get a picture of you two? Please?" The young girl begged as she held her camera in her hands. I looked towards Alex who had paused signing the CD he was scribbling his signature on and looked towards me. He nodded and stood up, pulling me onto my feet. He wrapped his arms around me, as I did to him, and pulled me closer to him so his cheek was resting against my temple. I smiled as the girl brought her camera up, the tip of her finger pressing the button.

"What about one of you two kissing?" He friend piped up.

Alex looked at me and smiled, rubbing our noses together before pressing his soft lips to mine. His arms tightened around me as I brought one had up and tugged on his hair, the other reaching behind me as he linked out fingers together. Without even thinking about the people around us Alex deepened the kiss. Jack, Rian and Zack whistled and we pulled apart but stayed close. He rubbed his nose against mine again before enveloping me into a bear hug. I violently blushed and pulled away, sitting back next to Cass. Alex took his seat back by Jack.
