Elsie and Carlos have finally gone on their very first date. They went to a movie and they had their very first kiss. Elsie saw it as super romantic and was relieved that they were still together despite her serious quirks and the fact that she was basically a living weapon. She was glad he accepted her. She was glad her best friend still accepted her. There was no better feeling of satisfaction in the world to her.
Carlos drives her home from the movie that night. They wave goodbye and he pulls out and is on his way. She's just glad he still loves her even after finding out the real truth about her. She's glad neither of them dare to turn her over to the Mutant Extraction Force. She's glad that he's devoted and willing to risk himself to protect her from any harm. That's the main quality she always looks for in a guy. She likes that he cares and is willing to die for her, yet she doesn't want him to die for her. She's the living weapon; he isn't. To her, he's the innocent boyfriend and Kim's the innocent best friend.
