Simon rarely ever got drunk. But when he did it was bad.

But this time he was abusive.

You kept reminding yourself that every time he threw something at you. Every time he hit you.
Every time he showed no mercy.

You started sobbing. Simon was out again.
Drinking.
You didn't want to go to sleep cause he would wake you up anyway.
So you hid.
You heard him looking when he got back.
Till you heard crying.
"I kept abusing her and now she's gone. I deserved this, I'm just a self centered asshole when I am drunk."
You wouldn't let Simon think about that.
You came out of hiding and just wrapped your arms around him.
"I would never leave you si," you whisper, "never in a million years."
