Yes or No?

"It seems he is doing fine and he's been calling for Barry and Iris, is that you two?" The nurse asked pointing at Iris and me.

We nodded and followed the nurse towards Joe's room, Cait and I holding hands. We walked into Joe's room where we saw him smiling at us.

"Caitlin what are you doing here?" Joe asked.

"Making sure you were ok," Cait replied nervously.

"You guys can go home, I'm very tired and want to sleep," Joe said, shooing us away.

We left so he could sleep. The stitches didn't need to be in any longer, so me and Cait had to go back to S.T.A.R. Labs to take out the stitches from when she was shot. Of course, Cait and I weren't off the hook with Iris.

"So when did you two get together and why didn't you tell me?" Iris asked, raising an eyebrow.

"A few days ago and because we wanted it to be a secret," I replied.

"I just wanted to see how things would work out," Cait intervened.

"Oh ok, that makes sense," Iris said.

Cait and I ran to S.T.A.R. Labs while Iris took Cait's car. I got there and set Cait down on the bed to take out her stitches. I put her under anesthetics and took the stitches out. Her wound was practically healed. I waited for her to wake up by chatting with Iris. Basically, all she talked about was me and Cait. I was so done with talking to her about it when Cait woke up. After about thirty minutes she could walk like a normal person.

"I'm gonna go, Barry see you at home," Iris said, waving goodbye.

I waved goodbye. Cait and I left shortly after. We went back to her place, so I could hang out for a little bit. We arrived at her place and made some popcorn and watched a movie. In the middle of the movie Caitlin got a call, so she got up and picked up the landline.

"There wasn't anyone there, but the never hung up," Cait said, looking worried.

"It's ok, I'm sure it'll all be fine," I said trying to reassure her.

The rest of the movie Cait seemed tense. I tried to calm her down by telling her jokes that go with the movie, even though she laughed she never fully calmed down. I got up to leave and was about to walk out the door.

"Hey, it'll all be fine," I said, kissing her forehead.

"Barry, will you stay me tonight?" Cait asked,

I nodded and smiled. I set my coat on the couch and sat down and watched tv while she got ready for bed. Once she was ready we headed to bed. She got in the bed and I tucked her in. I got in bed and went under the covers. We cuddled until we fell asleep.

I woke up with Cait asleep next to me. I smiled and got out of bed carefully so she wouldn't wake up. I realized that I was still in my jeans and button up shirt from yesterday. I ran home and changed and then went back to Cait's apartment in the blink of an eye. I found pancake mix in her pantry and made some blueberry pancakes. I set her table for two. I went out and bought her flowers as a present. I finished the blueberry pancakes and set them out on the plates and then put water in two glasses one for both of us. As I was pouring the water in the glasses I heard the bathroom door close. When Cait came out by the table I was sitting in a chair smiling.

"I made you your favorite, blueberry pancakes and bought you your favorite flowers, periwinkles," I explained, smiling.

"Wow, thank you!" Cait remarked.

We sat and ate our pancakes together enjoying each others company. After breakfast, Cait changed into work appropriate attire and I ran us both to S.T.A.R. Labs.
"Woah, why were you carrying her? What happened?" Cisco asked.
Mine and Cait's eyes widened. We didn't expect Cisco to be here for another hour.
"My car broke down so Barry came and got me after I dropped it off to get fixed," Cait lied.
Cisco nodded his head. Cait and I sighed in relief. I hadn't wanted to keep our relationship a secret but now, I do. It will make things less complicated for team Flash. 

"It's been slow so far, why don't we get coffee at Jitters?" Cisco asked. 

"Sure," Me and Cait said in unison. 

At Jitters

"So what's up with you two?" Cisco asked as I came back with the drinks.

"Nothing," Cait said nervously.

Cisco smiled. My phone vibrated in my pocket, it was Iris. Hey, when are you gonna visit dad?  Crap, I forgot to visit Joe. 

"Hey, I gotta go see Joe, I forgot to go last night," I said.

They nodded. I texted Cait. See ya tonight :) I looked back and saw her smile. Her smile was the most beautiful thing. I ran to the hospital. When I got there I saw Iris with an irritated look on her face. I held my hands up in surrender as I walked onto the elevator. As I walked into Joe's room, I saw him sitting up on his laptop. I knocked on the door. Joe looked up and smiled. 

"How you doing?" I asked.

"Good, Iris said you didn't go home last night where were you?" Joe asked.

"All night stakeout at S.T.A.R Labs," I replied. 

Joe smiled, "Barry I know you and Caitlin are dating. I'm a detective, I figured it out."

"We don't want anyone to know, it'll just make every more complicated," I whispered.

"Ok, I won't say anything. I'm also getting discharged tomorrow!" Joe told me.

I smiled. I could tell he was tired. I sat in his room until he fell asleep. I ran to see Cait after a long day the hospital.
