It's Offical

I got to Cait's house to find her asleep on the couch with Glee on in the background. I turned off the tv and carried her to bed. I tucked her in. I ran home and packed a duffle bag with my pj's and clothes for tomorrow. I got in my pj's after getting back to Cait's house. I slept through the night.

When I woke up I made blueberry pancakes again for her and I. I flipped, at least, eight pancakes. I have to keep up with my fast metabolism so don't judge. Cait finally crawled out of bed.

"Good morning beautiful," I said in a quiet voice.

"Good morning," Cait replied, half asleep. 

We ate breakfast together as a normal couple would. I had six pancakes while Cait had two. I cleaned up the table as Cait got ready for the day. My phone buzzed. Dad's coming home at noon, where were you last night?  I only replied saying, can't talk be there at noon. I knew that would upset Iris, but I didn't know what to reply. I finished cleaning up breakfast and brushed my teeth and hair as Cait got dressed. Then Cait did her make-up as I got dressed. 

"Ready for your ride?" I joked. 

She put her hand out and I picked her up bridal style and sped her to S.T.A.R Labs. I ran on the treadmill as Cait watched. Cait pushed her chair towards her desk. She walked into the treadmill room.

"Emergency at your old elementary school," Cait said.

I ran off. I got to my school to find a school shooting going on. I took the gun and ran him to the police station. That was easy. I headed towards S.T.A.R. Labs.

"Hey, beauti..." I started to say until I saw Cisco. 

"Ok, I'm not an idiot. I know you two are dating. It was pretty easy to figure out," Cisco said. 

"Ok, we are dating. We were just making sure it would work out before we told anyone," Cait defended

I looked at at my watch. Crap. It's 12:01.

"I have to go take Joe home," I said.

I kissed Cait on the cheek and sped to the hospital. I took the elevator to Joe's room. Iris was supporting Joe as he walked over to the door. I walked to his other side to be another support. Iris drove us home. 

We walked Joe to the couch where he sat down. 

"So... tell me about you and Cait," Joe said, excitedly. 

I went through the whole story. My phone rang after the story ended. 

"Barry, help... S.T.A.R Labs...Zoom," Cait whispered, out of breath. 

I dropped the phone and ran. When I arrived I saw Zoom in the Cortex about to go all Temple of Doom on Cisco. I caught his attention before he could kill Cisco, though. I brought Cisco to safety.

"Where's Cait?" I yelled in rage.

"The pretty one? I found out you were dating, so, I took her from you," Zoom laughed. 

I ran right in front of him. "Where did you take her?" I demanded.

"Til next time Flash," Zoom said, running away.

I got Cisco and we went to the cortex. He was fine, but I wasn't. I curled up in a corner and cried into my knees. Cisco came over and rubbed my back. 

"It's not your fault," Cisco murmured.

I got up and ran. I ran and ran. I ran for hours. I searched all of Central and Star City, she was nowhere. This is all my fault. I got home to Joe and Iris. 

"Barry! Where have you been?" Iris asked. 

"Zoom took Caitlin. I can't find her anywhere," I mumbled. 

I hugged Iris and cried into her shoulder. She rubbed my back. She had this happen to her before. I didn't understand how she coped, and I still don't. 

That night I cried myself to sleep. I slept alone and kept waking up in the middle of the night. I barely got any sleep. I decided to start my day at five am like me and Cait do. I didn't use my speed for anything. I moped around the house, I didn't even make pancakes. I sat down on the couch. My phone was vibrating like crazy on the table next to the couch. BARRY GET OVER HERE! GET TO S.T.A.R. LABS NOW! I THINK I KNOW WHERE CAITLIN IS!  My heart started to pound and my eyes widened. I felt the electricity flicker through my body and I ran. 

When I got to S.T.A.R. Labs, Cisco was standing waiting for me. 

"Sewer, where Grodd had Joe," Cisco explained. 

I got in my Flash suit and ran. I ran in and out of the sewer in a split second. I dropped Cait off at S.T.A.R Labs and then I did something very stupid. I ran back to confront Zoom.
