*Remember this is in Barry's pov*
I took my Flash costume off and ran. I was running, I didn't know where to until I stopped at a sign that said, Star City 3 miles. I needed to talk to someone who wasn't directly involved in Team Flash. That person was Felicity. I got to her and Oliver's house and knocked on the door. Oliver opened the door and I saw Felicity in her wheelchair at the dinner table.
"Sorry. Am I interrupting something?" I asked.
"No, come in," Oliver told me, gesturing to the table.
"Hey!" Felicity said.
I bent down to hug her. This was the first time I had seen her since her accident. I sat down in a chair at the table.
"What brings you here?" Oliver asked.
"I just needed to talk to someone," I said.
"Ok, about what?" Felicity asked.
"Caitlin. I found out literally two minutes ago she has powers," I told them.
I explained the whole story from the mysterious girl with ice powers to when I ran off after finding out Caitlin had powers.
"Wow, that's insane. So are you mad at her for not telling you or just confused?" Felicity asked, taking a bite of her salad.
"I guess, I don't know whether to be mad or disappointed or happy. So yeah, I'm confused," I said.
"Well, I say you go home to talk to her and you'll figure out your emotions towards this then,' Oliver told me.
"Ok, thank you so much!" I thanked them, getting up.
I ran back to Central City. I had forgotten my key and had to knock on the door. The door slowly opened. I saw half of Caitlin's face and I was broken the moment I saw it. Her mascara was dripping down her face. Her eye looked like it was a black eye with her eyeshadow and eyeliner everywhere. I saw the tears dripping down her cheek. She closed the door. I knocked again. No answer. I kept knocking until, on the fifth knock, she opened the door again. This time, her makeup was cleaned up and she wasn't crying.
"I came to talk. It was totally uncool of me to run off like that. I guess I just needed to talk to someone. And I'm not mad," I explained.
"I only just found out and when I did I went to Cisco first and I know I should have gone to you first considering you're my boyfriend, but I didn't know how to bring it up. Then, Cisco made me that suit and I wanted to see what it was like to be like you," Caitlin told me.
I leaned in and kissed her.
"I don't care that you lied to me," I told her.
It was pretty late and we have work tomorrow, so we went to bed.
When I woke up, I got up and showered. I put on a t-shirt and some jeans after my shower. I brushed my teeth and combed through my hair. When I decided I looked good enough for Caitlin, I started the daily blueberry pancakes. Just as I added the blueberries into the mix, I heard Caitlin start the shower. I flipped the pancakes. I set the pancakes out on the table when they finished cooking. I waited for Caitlin to come to breakfast. Soon enough, Caitlin came out from the shower wearing a white tank top that was wet from her hair and sweatpants.
"Morning beautiful," I say smiling.
"Morning handsome," Caitlin says.
She sat down and ate her pancakes while I sat across from her. I looked up at her beautiful eyes every once in a while, thinking that I was the luckiest guy in the world.
