I was half asleep half awake when some pictures came into my head. The first was a little dirty staircase. In my dream I looked around, I didn't know what I was looking for. It was a normal basement. My dream was silent. It showed me opening what looked like a huge rock in the wall. It was a hidden thing. Someone was hiding something. Then it showed me hugging someone, although it was unclear who I was hugging. Next, my dream showed us all escaping through a secret tunnel behind the bookshelf. Wow, a secret door behind the bookshelf. So original. I then woke abruptly. My mind was set now, that it is my job to find us a way out of here. And help the person that I was hugging in my dream, which actually seemed more like a vision.. I tried to get up and out of the blankets without disturbing the others. I slowly pulled Samuel's tight grip on my hand away trying not to wake him.I had to do this by myself. I felt the ground for a flashlight, knowing I couldn't turn the light on, or one of them would definetly awaken. I flicked on a flashlight and crept around the corner where I found the door I saw in my dream. I honestly wasn't frightened. I knew this is what I had to do to get us out of here. I grabbed the doorknob, opened it slowly and saw the staircase from my dream. I was finding us a way out! I just know I am. The staircase was even dirtier than it was in my dream. It was a small basement, but I knew exactly where the rock in the wall was. I walked over where I found a small handlebar. I was hesitant at first to open the door but I did anyways. I creaked it open slowly and looked inside. I shined my flashlight around in the deep hole, I didn't see anything. Then in the very far corner I saw a sudden movement. I shined my flashlight into it. A bruised distressed face looked up at me. It was cuddled in the corner.

"Marissa? Is..that really you?" She said coughing, probably from all the dust. I didn't recognize the voice at first. She slowly crept up to the front of the tunnel her face in the light. She was skinny, like she hadn't eaten in years, skinny.

"Sorry, do I know you?" I asked stepping backwards. She looked me in the eyes.

"Marissa, its me...Lexi." she spoke in a high pitched voice. I felt a tear trickle down my face.

"Lexi?" I asked. My cousin who we all thought was dead, I had just found in and old haunted mansion in a dark hole in the wall. I couldn't process this. She smiled and we laughed together. I hugged her tightly. I had missed her so much. Her face suddenly became strict as she looked me in the eyes.

"What are you doing here? Why are you here?" She asked. There were bags under her small eyes.

"My friends and I had to come here for a school project, we got locked in, and were being tormented here. We can't get out and we---" I stopped as tears started pouring out of her eyes. "What?" I asked my little cousin.

"It's Terrance. She was murdered here in this house by the old man that lived here a few years ago. I was with her, but I managed to kill the man before he got to me. Unfortunately, I was too late to save my sister. She was dead. And a few days later, when I still couldn't find a way out of this house, her spirit came back. And can I tell you, it was not happy. She thought I didn't even try to save her. So to get back at me she locked me in this hole with no way out." I was in shock. Just by seeing Lexi, and from hearing this story about my darling little cousin who cared for everyones feelings more than she ever cared about herself could do something so terrible. "She's still here. I can feel it. Shes definetly the one who's been tormenting you and your friends. You all need to get out of here, before something serious happens." Lexi told me.
