drip drip
the needles call
I hear their whispers
just down the hall
drip drip
close my eyes
you dont need them
what lies what lies
drip drip
they arent there
dont show you care
thunder strikes
within my chest
pressure pressure
ive lost my breath
my hands they clammer
my muscles shake
sweat drip drips
Im about to break
this habit of mine
I need a fix
the sting of a needle
with a chemical mix
and drip drip
the needles go
plunging deep
into skin of snow
so cold so cold
but Im happy now
down the hall
only a soft meow
they call no longer
I need no more
a chemical concoction
to my hearts core
my eyelids flicker
my soul it flies
you dont need them
what lies what lies
