Life sucked. At the age of four, he and his brother had been abducted out their beds by dragons. At least they didn't eat him. Well duh! He was telling this story! That very fate of getting eaten had befallen one of his old friends, Helen. Headfirst. Very, very bloody. But Torivor was used to that. At least his abductors didn't hurt him that much. They kept them as pets, and took care of them. But his brother had it worse. He got a little, care-free dragonet as his owner, was shut in a room, and had his name changed to "Yump". Torivor got to keep his own name, but still...he missed talking to other humans. After all, they were his own kind. But the two of them did probably have it better than any other human in dragon captivity. This was because their captors spoke their language. With normal abductions, the humans would be keep in a room all day, alone, with a dragon roaring at them all day, presumingly trying to communicate with them. Torivor didn't speak dragon, but it was pretty annoying when their captors would say something in dragon, and then point at them. Imagine having that all day, everyday. But life still sucked for him. Even if he did get his own pet storm petrel. Forced to live on an island in the middle of the raging sea. He didn't belong here. Now, since his master had been exiled, and his brother's keeper had been captured,( -ironic- -right?- -An- -abductor- -being- -abducted??- ) Now, all they could do was hope. Hope that someone would carry them off the island. But that would never happen. Unless..... no. The only chance they had was to approach a dragon. "Charter" might be a better word. That way, they could get flown back to the continent. Torivor already had one dragon in mind. His master's younger sister, Tycoon. The storms may rage, but that wouldn't stop Torivor, and his fierce determination.
