The fall hurt. FrostWings are delicate! He hated pain. More than the WispyWings that had taken FrostWings hostage. More than the ThunderWings that destroyed his tribe. Everytime he hurt himself, his power diminished. That meant it would take more of his so precious strength to heal a wound. At least he had found his earing. That was what mattered to him the most. The only remaining memory of his mother. Of his tribe. He was one of the last FrostWings to be free, and not in some WispyWing prison, or worse, in a grave. All the scavengers/dragons talked about their individual experiences, and for some reason, he felt a bond with all of them. Even the ThunderWing and the WispyWing. The ThunderWing he could understand, because it *was* Stormbringer who had helped cloud escape in the first place. But the WispyWing? Questionable. He could see Stormbringer and the WispyWing; Sycamore glaring at each other from across the room. Cloud knew they had some kind of rivalry, something that happened in the war, but he couldn't figure out what. As the conversation went on, on how they became scavengers, Cloud remembered something his mother had told him so long ago. A story. About an aminus FrostWing named Tiara. Apparently, she had gone insane and was never seen again. Could Tiara be the one who transformed them? He proposed his idea to the group, and they all agreed that it was possible, and tried to make a plan to regain their dragon form. All thoughts turned to Paradise; the only animus in the group, but her power was to undeveloped to be used. While Cloud drowned himself in thought, beside him, Stormbringer let out a frustrated screech. A bolt of lightning arced out of his mouth, and onto the floor, leaving a small column of smoke where it hit the ground. Everyone gasped. they all knew what this meant-- they could still use their natural powers while in scavenger form! "This helps us out a lot! With our powers, we could find Tiara more efficiently, and destroy her more easily!" suggested Tidepool. "We should find a way out of here first though." said Cloud helpfully. So they all walked out one of the many tunnels leading out of the cavern, and found themselves on a mountainside, with sheer cliffs surrounding it, and no visible way down. Avalanche, a half IceWing interjected, saying "If i'm seeing correctly, that mountain over there is Jade Mountain. Which means, we are on the Claws Of The Clouds mountain, in the sky kingdom. The closest scavenger den is just east of here I say that's where we go. If we can use our powers, that means that we can fly." Another dragon/scavenger; Opal, disagreed saying " How are supposed to fly you idiot! We don't have wings!" only to be interrupted by the sight of Avalanche putting his arms out, and preparing to jump. Avalanche jumped. Avalanche fell. Then, out of nowhere, Tidepool whipped out a fishing rod, and with amazing speed, caught Avalanche by the foot, and reeled him back up, to the point where he was dangling in front of everyone's faces, upside down. "Well that just concludes how stupid BrittleWings are!" concluded Frostbite and Huntinglily at the same time. They looked at each other and grinned. "I'm seriously considering to drop him." said Tidepool. Avalanche screamed, and braced for his death. "Let him go." Cloud said, and Avalanche was safely lowered to the ground. "I agree with Avalanche. We should head for the scavenger den. I'm sure our families will be looking for us, but if we just stay on the mountain, there's a chance a hungry dragon will try to catch one of us." said Cloud. "Let them try!" cried Stormbringer.
