CHAPTER ELEVEN: FROSTBITE

Frostbite looked up at the sky. It had been a day treking up the mountain side, listening to Huntinglily's "Master Plan". Hopefully it all worked out well, though she wasn't that intent on seeing her brother as a scavenger. Judging from his now ravenous apetite, he wouldn't even think twice about downing a party of angry dragongers. Suddenly, there was a huge shadow that passed over them. Several of the party gasped, and stared up at the sky, to see a huge ThunderWing swoop over them and out of sight. From behind the mountain, there was a loud screech as the ThunderWing let lose a shockwave, followed by several loud screams, presumably coming from a scavenger, and the loud crashing boom as the shockwave hit the mountain side. Their small party looked up, and saw the dragon fly away, towards the Mud Kingdom. They jogged over the mountain ridge, to the place where the ThunderWing unleashed it's wave. Inside was a crater, with a small body on the side. As they got closer, Frostbite realized that it was the same scavenger that they had bought their "sword" things from. She approached the dead scavenger, only to realize that he had a huge pack over his shoulder. From behind her, Avalanche said something that sounded suspiciously like "Sherpa". Back in the Ice Kingdom, they had scavengers that could survive in the Ice Kingdom's cold. They called them "Sherpas" because of their hats and big packs. From beside her, Tidepool inched forward, cautious, but curious to see what was inside the pack. As he opened the drawstrings, treasure, of all sorts tumbled out. Gold, diamonds, emeralds, silver, aquamarine, sapphires, trophies, and all kinds of jewelry rolled out. Only then did Frostbite notice why he was dead. He had stolen treasure. Then, something small and blueish came hurtling into her. The thing said "Oh!" And walked over to the treasure pile. It took a moment for Frostbite to realize that this was Seastar, whom the scavenger had taken her necklace from. While Seastar was trying to find her lost/stolen necklace, Frostbite turned around. She had answers.
