Huntinglily sat on her bunk and was thinking about why they were scavengers until she realized something. "GUYS WE SHOULD ALL GATHER TOGETHER AND TALK ABOUT WHY WE'RE SCAVENGERS!" exclaimed Huntinglily, scaring half the sleepy dragongers out of their bunks and onto the floor. Soon after, when everyone was out of bed and gathered around Huntinglily's bunk, Huntinglily began to speak. "So, we all know that an animus did this to us but does anyone know why an animus would do this to us? Or which animus would turn us into scavengers?" asked Huntinglily. Sycamore replied, "I don't think that there would be a lot of animuses against us, but ever since the war, there have been grudges against specific tribes. So, like if you think about it, there are a lot of important people here. Three war generals, a princess, and the rest of us are either supposed to be at Jade Mountain or are escaped and wanted dead back at our own kingdoms." Sycamore looked at Stormbringer suspiciously. "It still doesn't make sense though," said Huntinglily. "Who would want to turn us into scavengers? And why?"

A heavy silence hung in the air.

"Oh wait! I KNOW! I KNOW! I KNOW SOMETHING! GUYS JUST LISTEN OKAY?! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" shouted Paradise, effectively scaring everyone again. "Animus powers don't work on living things! It can't be an animus that turned us into scavengers. Maybe they caused the skyfire on our jewelry to make us scavengers!!!!!" shouted Paradise, really excited now. "I don't think so," said Seaslug. "I take my bracelet off when I sleep and I'm still not a dragon."

From all over the room, there were murmurs of agreement. From the back of the room, Stormbringer said, "What if it isn't an animus. Or maybe it's an animus and some other more powerful being working together? I'm pretty sure I read somewhere about a godessy dragon thingy person called Dawn. As the scroll put it, "She was the creator of all things, and every dragon." So what do you think? Or could it just be an animus with extreme power bending the rules of animusism?" Suddenly, something flew through the air and hit Stormbringer in the face. A couple of amused looks flashed over the faces of Tidepool, Cloud, Tempest, and Huntinglily. Stormbringer walked away, clutching his now bleeding cheek and walked over to where the culprit, of the incident, the Brittlewing was sitting. He drew his sword and pointed it at Avalanche's face. "Do that again, and I will eeeeeeeennnnnnnnnnnnddddddddddd yoouuuuuu!" screeched Stormbringer. Avalanche scrambled away and said "Sorry sir" at least 79887686299 times until Stormbringer sat back down on his bunk. Huntinglily thought about what he said. Sure, Dawn was the creator of all dragons, but why would she interfere with dragons like them? It didn't make sense. But there was a possibility that a crazy animus turned them like that, perhaps with the help of Dawn, or the help of one of her weapons dropped into Pyrrhia........Huntinglily suddenly jumped up from her bunk, scaring at least half of the dragongers in the room. "Sycamore, your spear is one of Dawn's weapons, right? Could it be possible that someone turned us into scavengers using a weapon like that?" Sycamore considered it for a moment. "It's possible, but how would we turn ourselves back into dragons? And also, even if we did get our claws, no wait...um......hands on that weapon, it might backfire and kill us or something. We don't know enough. That's the only problem."

Everyone was silent until Opal proposed an idea. "Guys, we could go to the library at JMA. They have scrolls, and it's a place where we should be safe. Even if we are scavengers, we could probably break in at night or something."

Everyone seemed to agree with this idea, and soon they were planning out how they would get there. It seemed like they were at a scavenger village not too far from JMA, but it was an hour flight at most. But they didn't even have wings! It would take them day to walk to JMA, but they would have to worry about food, water, shelter, and what they would do if they saw a dragon. Would the dragon try to eat them? Life was so much harder as a scavenger. At this point, it seemed hopeless, and they would remain as scavengers for the rest of their lives. But Huntinglily had a plan, a plan that involved a certain immortal animus WinterWing that she knew. The problem was finding him.
