Rosa glanced around the Dragon Lair. She had everything she needed to destroy the dragon that had been terrorizing a nearby town. She loved doing this. Revenge. That was her fuel to live. As she went deeper on into the cave, she heard somebody crying. As she hurried on through the wide cave, it opened up into a huge, beautiful cavern with paintings and scrolls all over the place. In the middle of the room, there was a black dragon on its side. Beside it, hugging the corpse was a human, crying and saying the words "Moonwatcher" over and over again.Rosa walked towards the boy, and asked him if he was alright. He started to cry even harder. Under his breath he said "Does it look like I'm alright? My friend was just killed!" Rosa sneered coldly and answered "If you ever thought that dragon was your friend, you've made a big mistake. Dragons are all evil to the core. Now get up!" The boy slowly got up, only to kick Rosa straight in the chest and knock her down. Her pulled out a pair of daggers and whipped them dangerously close to her neck. "Dragons are not evil. If you think they are cruel, so are you. Dragons are the most intelligent creatures I've ever met. Smarter than humans. They don't mean to hurt us, except for the cruel few who take sport in killing humans. Moonwatcher saved me. She is the one who taught me these things. My name is Bandit. Now begone, unless you are willing to fight for dragons and believe in them. Perhaps you would kindly help me find my brother. Then I might forgive you." Bandit stalked away and made a rude gesture to Rosa. Rosa frowned, but found herself agreeing with the boy. Like humans, some dragons could be evil, but many weren't. She would help the boy.
