Chapter 8

Kendall's POV

okay im a bit nervous cause this is my first time doing this.we are in Clarys room at her aunts house.if i screw up we have no hope in finding clary.Zayn lit the last candle and looked around.i sat in the middle of a candle lit circle with 2 bowls filled with water.one had Adams blood from the arrow and one with Clarys hair from her brush."are you sure about this"Zayn asked."yes I have read and seen videos about this stuff"i said."now shush i need to concentrate"i added.I looked into the candle that stood between the two bowls and put all my concentration an thoughts about clary.then i picked the candle up and i let the wax drip into one bowl then i did the same with the other."where is clary"Zayn said just as i told him to do before we lit the candles.

then the wax seemed to swirl in the bowls and one showed Clary unconcouis on a couch in the dark the other showed a gorgous guy walking around in what seemed to be a little girl room.i thought of the images zooming out and showing more of the place.the images in the bowl moved outwards.then in both bowls it showed a half burnt down mansion in the middle of the woods.I blew out the main candle.the images in the bowl went back to looking like weird blobs."i know where she is"i said looking up at Zayn.

"where"he asked."the old burnt down Malone mansion in the middle of the woods.Her old home"i said."well lets go"Zayn said.I blew out the candles and Zayn put them up and i grabbed the bowls and spilled them out in the bathroom sink.when we had finished cleaning up we walked downstairs and into the Clarys car.'we are coming Clary"i kept repeating in my head.
