Chapter 11

Harry's POV

i am sitting in a big twisted oak tree.Last time i checked it was 1:40 a.m. or sumtin.I watch the girl from the branch that looks into the bedroom.she is sitting on her bed.her dark hair pulled into a messy bun.her golden eyes concentrated on the sketch book she held in her hands.then my phone buzzed.i checked and saw it was Kelly calling.I forward the call.Kelly is amazing dont get me wrong but right now i have been confused and distant from her.tonight i might have ruined our relationship.When we got to the house Kelly pulled me aside and asked me what the hell was up with me.I was pisssed off at the time.

It wasnt my fault i couldnt control my anger but finding out that my best friend was friends with a vampire well thats kinda hard to take in.i had looked at Kelly.what i said made her eyes fill with tears.I wish to take back the words but i cant.she has called me three times and sent me messages telling me how sorry she was and that she loves me and a bunch of other stuff thats made my heart feel like it was being squeezed tighter and tighter from guilt.

I should be holding Kelly in my arms right now or hanging with the lads but no im sitting in a tree outside a vampires window at 2 in the morning.'she is amazing.too bad you cant have her.you are a worthless little hunter.all alone with no one to comfort you.your friends not bothering to wonder where you are.a girlfriend who is hurt by her self-pitying boyfriend.or are you just using the girl to feel what Keira made you feel.Poor little Harry.all alone in the dark' said the voice in my head.he is talking to me again.

'do you have anything better to do than stalk my thoughts'i said back.'yes alot of things actually.i could think of a million things better than listeing to a hunter feel sorry for himself.but it is a part of my plan so i have too'he said.'what plan'i asked.'wanna make a deal with the prince of darkness, harry?'alec said.i didnt answer back.'what the deal'i asked.'i can bring darkness on people when i want.make them feel miserable.make them live a living hell.but when i feel generous,which is very very rarely, i take away the darkness away from people just to keep things intersting.i give them a new darkness.power and immortality.what would you say if i told you i would take that darkness you feel inside and give you a life with no worries.you can also be with you lovely keira' alec said.i froze.

'Keira is dead.She died when i killed her.you were there you should know that she is gone.the day i let you change me will be the day when the world is burning'i snarled in my head.'dont be like that Harry.dont act like you have never been tempted to turn immortal and have power.when are you going to stop acting? stop letting you mates walk over you? 'Harry go after the vampire'.'Harry bring the weapons'.'Harry cook some food'.'Harry go in first'.'Harry can you give us a minute to talk in private'.you act like you need them.when me and you both know that you are better off without them.they are holding you back from becoming the best vampire hunter in the history of your kind.they are holding you back from becoming the most feared creature in the universe.you know you hold a great power in you. you know you are better than them.But you let them hold you back.they are afraid and feel threatened by you.they cover your power like putting a rag over a lamp.they dont need you but they keep you just so you dont out shine them'he said.

i shut my eyes.he had used the guys voices when he was mocking them.this is why i hate vampires.they mess with your head.read your thoughts.but what is worse is they always tell the horrible truth.they know how their prey feels and they use that against their prey.'what the catch?you are offering me immortality.there must be something you want in return'i said.'yes but it is a small price.so easy in fact.as long as you vampire loving hunter isnt in teh way.I need you to convinve Clary that you are good for her.then when the time is right you bring her to me'he said.
