Chapter 9

Clary's POV

i am dreaming of the night i killed my family.I lay in bed in my old room,in my family mansion.i couldnt sleep cause the hunger and darkness was to much pain.it felt like my insides were being shredded.i clawed at the bedpost taking my hunger an fear out on it.the darkness throbbed inside my body waiting for a invitation to be let loose.i refused it.letting the ddarkness take over didnt feel right.i felt the evil inside it.but the hunger was just unbearable.listening to heartbeats and blood flowing in bodies just a few doors down and in the same house as me was just to much.

finally i broke the hunger won.i went into hunter mode.i quietly and quickly slid through my door and towards my brothers room.i open the door and look in.my brother lay in his bed sprawled out like a starfish.his head was tilted a bit and his neck was bared.his wavyish brown hair was covering most of it.i went to his drawers and took out pairs of socks and got his belts from his closet.I found a pocket knife hidden in the sock drawer and ussed that too.i quickly tied andd gagged my brother to his bed.he had woken when i shoved the sock in his mouth.His amber eyes stared at me in confusion and fear.i touched his wrist feeling the vain and then sliced.

i felt my brother tense and gave a bit of a muffled cry.i licked the ribbon flowing down his arm.it ddnt taste right.the human part of me took over and i spit the blood out.i tried on his other wrist and ankles but it was the same results.blood now soaked the bed, floor and a bit of the walls.finally i tried the neck but before i could lick the blood i heard my parents wake up.i left the room and went to theirs.they were getting their robes and slippers on when i attacked them.then i realized what i had done when my parents bodies lay at my feet bleeding nad lifeless.horror and greif dawned on me.i ran to my room and jumped through the window.

shards of glass cut me and i was hoping i would kill myself when i hit the hard ground but i was wrong.instead i landed like a cat.the two story fall didnt even harm me.i curled into a ball feeling alone,scared,angry, confused, and sad.i still feel those feeling to this day.the darkness throbbed inside me and i was tempted to let it take over but i refused it again.that night i vowed that i would not harm any human ever again.i would find a different way to fulfill the hunger.i felt my self swimming out of my sleep and i started remebering what had happened."Clary wake up"i heard a girls voice say.i slowly lifted my eyes and saw a green eyed girl crouched over me.Kendall! "about time sleeping beauty.Hurry up come on.we need to get Zayn and get out of here"she said to me.Zayn!

"where is Zayn"i asked.before Kendall could answer there was a sound like wood breaking and Zayn slid past us on his stomache.but he got up and he crouched like a cat and then ran back through the new hole in the wall.me and kendall looked at each other then through the wall.Zayn was fighting Adam and seemed to be doing fine.but i knew Adam was holding back."im guessing you came in a car so go start it and be ready to hall ass out of here"i told Kendall.she nodded and ran towards the front room.i took a deep breath and then ran through the hole.
