The love of the King (Thranduil Fanfiction)

My unfortunate turn of events, and maybe some good news for you guys :)

Hi! :) It's been a while, hasn't it? I've missed you all dearly!

Anyway, I've got some updates, on not just my writing, but also my life that I feel obligated to tell you amazing people :D

So, first things first... I feel so bad for using this as a way to get people's attention *hides in a corner* Forgive me, pretty please? 

A couple weeks ago I got sick and had to go to the doctor. I thought, and my doctor thought, I had a simple case of bronchitis or something like it; all I had was this super annoying cough, and it didn't even sound that bad. I just felt borderline UGH. 

My doctor gives me medicine and calls it a day. Like normal. 

So I go home and everything was pretty regular. I took my medicine and fell asleep and took one super long nap, couple hours long. 

But when I woke up... I couldn't catch my breath. I felt like my throat had swelled up on one side and I started flipping out. I had never had any trouble breathing before so it was kinda scaring the shit out of me. 

Being with my Grandma at the time, she started flipping out too and took me straight to the hospital. For a while I felt like complete crap, and definitely didn't like all the questions I had to try and answer and the doctors I didn't know touching me :P I have personal space issues anyway lol

Finally they take my temperature and see that I have a fever of 103. They loaded me down with Tylenol, and Motrin until my fever finally went back down. 

After that I was pretty stable... But still having a little bit of trouble breathing. 

So then they decided to take a chest X-Ray. 

I was wheeled to the Radiology wing and into the X-Ray room and took the X-Ray of my chest. Turned out, I had traces of Pneumonia in both lungs, one lung being worse than the other. 

The doctor upped my dose of medicine, but didn't admit me to the hospital.  I went home that night, still feeling slightly short of breath, but definitely not as bad as I was before. 

It was pretty late at night, so I took some cough medicine and went to bed. 

Next morning I was WAY worse. My cough got worse, my body ached, and I was still having a pretty hard time breathing. Bad thing was, the medicine the doctor gave me? Couldn't take it. It was too freaking big for me to swallow, and with my throat being swelled and raw from coughing so much and so bad I threw it back up :/ 

And that night I was back in the hospital; dehydrated and barely being able to breathe. 

From then on it just got worse, sadly. I'm not gonna type it all out, unless you wanna be here all day lol... Let's just say I got needles stuck in every part of both my arms, I took a ride in an ambulance for the first time ever, and just got worse in a different hospital.

I spent my Christmas and most of my Christmas break in the hospital, in the ICU, on a crazy amount of drugs and painkillers, and oxygen.

You think that's bad?

My lower left lung collapsed and nearly killed me O_O Yeah... I almost died. 

Why am I telling you this? Oh I dunno... I feel like you'd like to know how I spent my Christmas :P 

I'm also here to tell you I'M NOT QUITE DEAD YET and I have something maybe some of you would like :3 

I'm obviously not continuing this Fanfiction - I know, I know *hands out tissues* I'm sorry, I truly am... But I do have some good news! :) 

I've started another book, this one I actually intend to finish :P It's kind of a mystery/thriller, Actiony thing, and I think you guys may like it. 

It's obviously for mature audiences only, Cuz I'm just cool like that.

I still feel so freaking bad for using this to get you guys attention *Hides in a corner again* I really hope you guys can forgive me! 

Hopefully I can make it up to you guys with this new book *Crosses fingers*
