The party was going pretty well. Everyone seemed to be having a great time, and everyone got along with each other... with a few exceptions of minor fistfights. The games were fun, the food was yummy, and the music was fun to dance to. All in all, the party was a huge success.

There were a few people who weren't having the best time though.

Ethan was concerned about Cody and was paranoid of him possibly cheating on Emma. Even though he always was worried about that, he had a strong gut instinct this time that he was up to something. Jake, who had a history of trusting his gut instinct, always told Ethan to trust his gut. Because of that, he believed he should trust it.

Tony was worried about Nicole knowing he had a crush on her. He had immense regret revealing his feelings for her through Truth or Dare... especially in front of a huge group of people. The whole night, he was getting condolences from others who saw what happened. He wanted to talk to Nicole about it, but he was afraid of embarrassing himself even more.

Nicole was trying to figure her thoughts out about Tony. She noticed Tony in the hallways quite a few times before, but she never really thought about if she liked him or not. Since the moment he revealed he liked her, she questioned if she felt the same way. Throughout the night, if she ever caught a glance at him, her mouth would go dry and her stomach would whirl into a million knots. It was a surreal feeling she never experienced before.

Nathan was having a tough time trying to recover from the kiss with Emma. He knew it was only a stupid dare from Ethan, but he was blessed that he made them do that. Since his first day of school, he wanted to tell her how much he cared about her. Even though she had a boyfriend, he still wanted to tell her. He wondered if the message was clear enough through the passion he put in the kiss.

Emma was wondering if she liked Cody's kiss or Nathan's kiss more. Cody was her boyfriend, but she had to admit... his kisses sucked. Nathan was her first real kiss, and she loved it. She had intense guilt for kissing him while dating someone else, but at the same time, she didn't regret it. She then began to wonder who she actually liked.

The party began to come to an end around midnight. Lots of people had left already, but some were still around. Emma had texted Jake and asked him if Ethan could drive her, Tony, and Jess home. Gavin decided to drive back home himself. Jake had agreed to that plan. Cody and Nathan were still there as well. Hannah and Nicole had left after Hannah got in a fight with Sydney about the humiliating egg dare. Tony was heartbroken when Nicole didn't confront him about him admitting his feelings for her before she left. That was when he knew... he blew it.

"When do you want to leave?" Gavin asked Emma. She shrugged in reply.

"Ethan fell asleep, so I'm not sure," Emma laughed. She looked over at her older brother, who had collapsed on a couch after a competitive game of ping pong in the game lounge. She laughed.

"I'll wake him and ask him," Gavin suggested.

"Nah, let him sleep," Emma giggled. "I'm actually having a pretty good time. I can't believe I haven't panicked or anything with the large crowds and all."

"I'm glad," Gavin laughed. He gave her a thumbs up and walked away.

"I wonder if Cody is jealous about the kiss with Nathan," Emma wondered. "I mean, he is my boyfriend. I'll talk to him, apologize, and say it was simply a stupid dare by my brother." Emma searched for Cody on the main level before going upstairs. After searching the other rooms, she knocked on a closed door and walked in. What she saw next horrified her.

Cody and another girl were kissing each other while standing in the center of the room. It was dark in the room, but the moonlight shone through a window, onto them. Emma immediately felt betrayal. Her chest tightened, and she felt her smile drop. She stayed silent and stared at the floor until they noticed her.
