Apologies

Rhythmic beeping echoed in his ears, coaxing him awake gradually and he inhaled slowly. Taehyung cracked his eyes open, white walls and bright lights greeting his sore eyes. Blinking several times as he tried to grasp his surroundings, he noticed an unknown warmth covering his left hand. He slowly sat up, wincing slightly, to stare in surprise at Hoseok. The dancer was holding Taehyung's hand tightly between both of his own, and had slumped out of his seat to rest his head on the brunette's bed. Taehyung's mind raced and his heart rate sped up, causing the beeping to increase with it. His labored breathing and the loud beeping woke Hoseok up and he quickly stood to hold Taehyung's face between his hands "Tae, calm down. Breathe. You're here because we found you unconscious in the studio..." Hoseok stared into his eyes for a moment before pulling him into a careful hug due to the tubes and wires, mumbling "don't scare us like that again..." Taehyung slowly calmed down, returning the hug and closing his eyes to savor the moment "I'm sorry hyung." The two of them sat silently like that for several minutes until there was a knock at the door. Hoseok frantically moved off of the bed and back into his seat with a chuckle and a wide grin at Taehyung. The singer blushed lightly, smiling softly and called out "come in" to the strangers outside.

The rest of his members shuffled in with their heads hung low, each one seemingly lost in thought as Namjoon stood at the foot of the hospital bed "Tae, I'm sorry for making you stay late.. I didn't realize you were pushing yourself that hard. It was a bad decision for me, as a leader to make, I hope you can forgive me." He stared at his friends in surprise, quickly speaking to Namjoon "it's ok hyung, I should've taken a break." He smiled meekly to the leader, causing Namjoon to grin and take a seat on the far side of the room. Jin rubbed his red and puffy eyes before walking to Taehyung's bedside to sit a small box of food on the desk with a sad smile. Yoongi merely nodded at him, and took his seat by Jin and Namjoon. Taehyung stared ahead at the makanae and his best friend, frowning "is your ankle still hurt?" Jungkook shook his head with a wide grin "no, it's fine now hyung. It wasn't hurt too bad. Sorry for yelling at you.." Taehyung sighed in relief "thank god.." Last was Jimin who silently took his seat by Jungkook and silence soon filled the room.

After a few minutes of silence, Jin spoke quietly "I think I speak for all of us when I say this, but we're sorry for leaving you out lately. I don't think we realized we were even doing it... But it won't happen again." Everyone nodded in agreement as Taehyung smiled softly "thank you guys.." His eyes started to tear up at the realization that no one hated him, everything was going to be ok. Hoseok got up to hug Taehyung again, yelling "GROUP HUG!!" And laughter filled the room as everyone awkwardly hugged Taehyung.

They only parted when the doctor came in holding a clipboard, smiling sadly at the sight before him "would it be ok for me to speak with Taehyung alone for a few minutes?" All of the boys shuffled out of the room, laughing and joking around as the doctor stood by Taehyung's bed "hello Mr. Kim, my name is Dr. Wes, how are you feeling today?" Taehyung stared at his hands nervously, wondering why he had such a sinking feeling in his gut "I-I'm fine.." The doctor scribbled the brunette's vital signs down and took a seat beside him "now, have you been having any trouble with staying energized in the past few days?" Taehyung shook his head "no not really but there's been other stuff.." The doctor raised an eyebrow, obviously confused "like what?" Taehyung shifted in his bed with a sigh "well, it started out with not being hungry. Then I threw up, I've been nauseas ever since and my stomach always hurts. Sometimes my back and my legs too, and it seems like I've gained weight somehow because my stomach's getting bigger.." The doctor narrowed his eyes, asking quietly "have you had sexual intercourse lately?"
