(A/N: The majority of the POVs will be Carmen, because she is the main character.)
-Carmen's POV-
I walked back downstairs- the scrapbook had been in my parents' room, which was upstairs- and stopped halfway down.  There she was.  Thorn was talking to my parents.  I wouldn't say they were arguing, but they didn't seem to be agreeing, either.

"Pleeeeeease?  I wanna meet her!"  Thorn was persistent.  When she said that sentence, I noticed the magic wand charm light up again.  Mom sighed, exasperated.

"Alright sweetie.  She's upstairs."  She said.  Are they talking about... me?

"Yay!  Thanks Mom!"  Thorn bounded up the stairs and saw me.  Her face lit up.  "Hi!  Carmen, right?  I'm Thorn!  Pleased to meet you!  Guess what?"  Dang, she's hyper.

"What?"  I asked.

"I got Mom and Dad to let you live with us!  We'll be like sisters!"  Thorn hugged me.

"Heh heh.  I guess we will."  I replied.  I hugged her back to seem friendly, trying to set aside my hatred I had for her before meeting her- after all, she had convinced Mom and Dad to let me stay.  Eventually, Thorn let go of me.

"Come on, come on!  I'll show you our room!"  She grabbed my hand and led me back upstairs into the room that had once belonged to me.  She had completely changed it.  The walls had been painted to look like tree bark, while the floor and ceiling looked like leaves.  It was an interesting choice, to say the least.

The rest of the room also seemed to follow a forest theme.  She had wooden furniture and green bed sheets.  Not to mention the jar of fireflies that had taken the place of my lamp.  Thorn jumped onto the bed.

"It's pretty, right?  Oh, you need a bed, don't you?  Here, I'll go take care of that!"  She jumped back onto the floor and bounded downstairs, returning later with a bed identical to hers.  I couldn't help but be impressed- how could she carry that thing?  She put my bed down next to hers.

"We're gonna have so much fun, new sis!"  Thorn said happily as she got back onto her own bed and started jumping on it.

"HEY!  YOU'RE SHAKING THE WHOLE HOUSE UP THERE!  KNOCK IT OFF!"  Dad yelled.

"NO!"  Thorn yelled back, the magic wand charm on her bracelet momentarily glowing again before deactivating once more.  Silence fell over the room, with the exception of the bed creaking in protest as Thorn continued to use it as a trampoline.  Wow.  If I had talked back like that, I would've been grounded.  I couldn't believe they let her get away with that.

Then, the anger came back- this stranger got away with talking back and jumping on the bed and I didn't!  Not to mention that she had stolen my charm bracelet and taken my place in my family!  I marched out of the room and searched for somewhere to calm down.

I couldn't explode on her.  She was my "sister", right?
