Lydia's POV
Monday, the most hated day of the week. Why do I need to wake up early to go to jail? I mean college.
"Lydia? Are you even listening?" Samantha asked waving her hand in front of my face.
"Oh, sorry. I'm a little distracted." I said getting some of my fries and putting them in my mouth. It was lunch time, me and Samantha were in the cafeteria.
"So, you have Elliot Hasting living in your guest house!" Samantha squeal exited.
"Hush, no one can know about this."
"I still can't believe you saw him naked." she started laughing.
"Can you drop it already?" I was getting irritated. She keep talking about the same conversation for a hour now.
"Ok, ok. Anyway, do you have plans on Friday?" She asked taking a bite of her sandwich.
"No, not yet anyway." I wanted to know if they had races around here. If not I would have to go to another town.
"Great! What if we go to a party on Friday?" Samantha asked a little too excited.
"Nah, parties aren't my thing." I said getting up to throw the trash away.
"Why not? Is going to be so much fun."
"Can I ask you something?" I asked.
"Sure, what is it?"
Here goes nothing. "Do you know anything about motorcycle races?"
"Motorcycle races? No, but there's car races. Elliot and his friends go to them every second Friday of every month."
"Oh cool." I said casually.
"Why?" she asked walking with me.
"Can you keep a secret? Is not anything serious anyway."
"Of course."
"Well um... I love to see motorcycle races." I lied
"Really? I found does races stupid and dangerous."
"They are not stupid!" I hissed.
"Ok, ok" she said putting her hands up.
"Anyway, I have to get to class. I'll see you later." I said walking away.

When I arrived home I could hear loud music coming from the backyard. Elliot...
I went inside the house and dropped my bag on the couch. Now to deal with that stupid head.
I opened the back door and I could literally see the guest house shaking.
"Elliot open the door." I order him banging on the door. After 3 minutes he did, but what hit me next was the stench of alcohol.
"Hey, Lydia. Where were you I have missed you so muchhh..."
"Elliot you're so dr- "
"Handsome? I know" he said almost falling on his butt.
"Let me in" I said pushing him aside but also making sure he don't fall.
When I entered there was so many cans of beer on the floor and table. "It's a bit messy here." Elliot said sitting on the floor. I went to the radio and turn it off.
"So this is what you do on Monday? Skip school and get drunk?" I asked.
"Not really. I don't have class on Mondays and I'm just really stressed."
"Why are you stressed? Oh and why are you living here?" I asked, is it bad that I'm taking advantage of his state right now? Nah.
"My parents are selfish people." he said laying down on the floor. I sat down next to him.
"Why are they selfish?" He had his eyes closed now, I thought he fell asleep but then he opened his eyes.
"They want me to get marry." Doesn't every parent?
"The girl's father has a big company, bigger than my father's." he continue.
"So they want you to marry her so both the companies combine." I finished for him.
"Something like that."
"Wow an arranged marriage. Can't you say no?" I asked
"My father would take everything away from me if I do, I just need to lay low for a few months." He explained, closing his eyes.
"Come on, let's get you in bed." I stood up and helped him get up. When I was getting closer to the bed he fell down... on top of me.
"You really need to stop doing this." I said trying to push him off me. He started cuddling me.
"You smell good" he comment sniffing my neck. "Boy I wish I could say the same for you."
Finally I got him on the bed and pull the blanket over him. When I turned around I saw all the cans on the floor. I got a bag and started to pick them up. When I finished I went to open the door.
"Lydia?" I heard Elliot mumble.
"Yeah?"
"Thanks." He said. I didn't expect that.
"You're welcome." I said and went out the door.
