Lydia's POV
This is the second day I wake up with a foggy memory, well this time it wasn't that foggy. I remember everything, me eating Elliot's "special brownies", running around like an idiot, Elliot shirtless.. Wait why was he shirtless?
I looked down at myself, and just what I thought. I was wearing a men's shirt. Great, just great. I'm such an idiot.
While I was debating with myself on how I was going to act around Elliot there was a knock on my door.
"Is opened" I yelled covering up my body with the blanket.
"Good afternoon" my mom entered my room.
"Afternoon?" I question
"Is 1 o'clock, is time for you to get up" she started picking up stuff that was around the floor and putting them in their place. Why can't mothers leave stuff where they found them?
"I'll take a shower and then go downstairs" I tell her hoping she will leave already.
"Ok, I'm going" she was heading to the door when she turn around, "I forgot to mention, there's a boy downstairs."
"Elliot!?" I asked, pulling the sheets of me, forgetting about the shirt I was wearing and didn't want her to see.
"No, not Elliot. Is a guy name Adam?" I was a bit disappointed it wasn't Elliot, but why? The last thing I want is to see Elliot.
I got up and got ready in my personal bathroom. I got Elliot's shirt and fold it, I'll have to give it to him eventually.
Going downstairs Adam was at the end of the stairs.
"Hey sleeping beauty" He greeted showing off that amazing smile.
"Aren't we mad at each other?" I asked crossing my arms.
"No, you were just annoyed at me for being right."
"Excuse me?" I was getting pissed off.
"I'm just messing with you, look I'm sorry if I offended you in anyway. That wasn't my intention, is there any way I can make it up to you?" he asked.
I started to think in what way he can make it up when an idea came to mind.
I pulled him outside so my parents wouldn't listen to our conversation.
"I want you to take me to the next motorcycle race." I can see his facial expression changing from his usual teasing, smirking one to an annoyed one.
"Again with the motorcycle races?" he hiss. I took a step back, I don't know what his problem is. Why can't he just take me, is not like I'm going to enter the race... yet.
"Why can't you be a normal girl and ask to go to the movies or the mall." Wow talk about stereotype, he moved to go get in his car. "I'll see you later" he got in and drove off.
"What the fuck just happened" I asked myself.
"Lydia!" I heard my mom call.
I entered the house and she was waiting for me in the living room holding a laundry basket. "You know what to do" she said handling me the basket. I was heading to the backyard when I saw Elliot coming out of the guest house.
"Shit" I cursed. I moved behind the curtains so he couldn't see me. When I was sure he was gone I went to pick up the clothes that was hanging outside. I could hear Elliot's car being turn on, maybe he is going to class. I'm so lucky I don't take classes today.
I brought the clothes inside and went to my room to check if I can find more information about the races.
-*-*-*-*-*
Nothing, that is what a found, I've been searching for 2 hours and I haven't found anything. Maybe I can go and check where Elliot took me. But I don't think they will have races a Wednesday.
Anyway it won't hurt to investigate. When I looked at the clock it was 5pm, races started at 10pm where I used to live so it was probably the same here. I could hear the garage door opening. Elliot probably home already. My stomach was hurting, I totally forgot to eat something today.
I entered the kitchen and spotted Elliot leaning on the counter, before he could see me I turn around and started walking to the stairs.
"Lydia? Is that you?" my mom questioned. Darn I was so close, I turn around and went to the kitchen where she was by the sink.
I could feel Elliot looking at me but I didn't want to look at him, I still felt embarrassed of what happened last night.
"I'm making spaghetti, can you and Elliot make the table" she said.
"Do I have to?" I asked, she just turn around and gave me a look. I sight and went to pick up the plates, before I could grab the plates Elliot had them in his hands. I didn't look at him, I just picked the silverware and walked to the table.
"Are you avoiding me?" he asked setting the plates down.
"No" I simply answer.
"It sure looks like it, you can't even look at me" I kept ignoring him and setting down the forks, he grab my arm lightly, and grab my chin, lifting my head up so I can look at him.
"What's wrong?" he asked concern.
"I'm embarrassed." I stated. Looking down.
"Why? Because of last night?" I simply nodded.
"Lydia you don't have to be embarrassed, nothing happen. You eat half of the brownies my friend gave me but nothing serious happened" he assured me.
"You saw my underwear" after I said that he started laughing loudly.
"Why are you laughing?" I said hitting his chest.
After he finished laughing he looked at me and started laughing again. "Ok, ok I'll stop" he said after seeing my annoyed expression.
"Lydia, I didn't see anything. Before you could show me anything I took my shirt off and put it on you."
"Oh" was the only thing that came in mind.
"I should be the one embarrassed" he said sitting down.
"Why?" I sat next to him
"After you went to sleep, I was sneaking out and your parents arrived. So I went out your window, shirtless and I couldn't get down. I fell on top of a bush, I probably broke some part of my ass." I started laughing harder than him.
"OK I feel better now" I said trying to contain my laughter.
"Is not funny" he said giving me a small push, I almost fell from my chair until Elliot grab both of my arms and pulled me to him. Are faces were close together, He started leaning in and so did I.
"Dinner is ready!" my mom yelled entering with a bowl of pasta. I squeal and pushed Elliot off of me, making him fall off his chair.
"This time I really think I broke something." He growls
"Sorry." I apologize
