Lydia's POV
"Do you have everything ready? Oh God this is so exciting. Your first day of college!" Mom yelled excited.
"Mom is not like I haven't went to school before." I assured her.
"Yeah I know honey, but this is college. You're going to make so many friends. I just know it!" She started fixing my hair and tugging on my shirt.
"Ok, ok. Let the girl be." Said dad walking down the stairs.
"Ok mom, is time to go." I kissed her cheek and started walking before she could pull me back to her.
"I'll drive you." Dad offered taking his keys.
"Nah is fine. I will just take my bike." I said walking out but not before hearing my dad insult my bike.
+-+-+-+-+-I parked in front of the university and when I took my helmet. The university wasn't that impressive to be honest. Looks like ordinary buildings. Now the soundings were nice, big trees in every corner, what's with my obsession with trees?
"Hey!!" I heard someone shout. When I turn around Samantha was running at my direction.
"Hey" I greeted. She jump on me giving me a hug. This girl is really friendly.
"So first day!! This is so existing. Do you have your schedule?" She said pulling on my arm.
"Yes, they send me my schedule on the mail. I think they gave me the worst schedules possible, I can't wait to make my own schedule next semester"I told her pulling my hand from her grasp.
"Awesome! Let me see it!" She yelled exited taking my paper from my bag. Is everyone exited today? Jeez.
"You have one class with me! Isn't that great? Then we have time free. We can go to the cafeteria together or go eat somewhere."
"Great" I simply said.
"Here let me show you to your first class." She said dragging me inside.
"You been here?" isn't this her first year too.
"They gave us a tour a few days ago" she said.
In the hallway everyone was saying "hi" and "hello" to Samantha and when they saw me their expressions turns into 'who the fudge is that?'
"I can see a lot of people know you." I commented.
"Oh yeah. I was popular in high school and if you haven't notice this is a small town, so mostly everyone know each other "she explained like it was nothing. "Well here we are." she said pointing to the door.
"Well my class begins in 10 minutes. I will see ya later." she said and walked away. "Oh wait, I forgot to give you my phone number." After giving me her phone number she left.
My class wasn't going to start for a good 20 minutes so I just sat on the floor next to a bending machine. It was getting a bit cold so I started to pull on the zipper of my jacket, but it was stuck.
"Great, just great" I mumble pulling the zipper.
"Need help" Someone offer in front of me.
"Um sure," I looked up to see the most beautiful guy I have ever seen.
"I'm guessing you're new right" he chuckled at my difficulty on pulling up a simple zipper.
"Yeah, is it that obvious?" I asked pulling harder.
"I haven't seen you before and trust me a face as beautiful as yours is hard to miss." I could feel my face heating up. He bend down at my level and pull the zipper, after he got the zipper all the way up he looked up to my face, I could see does big pretty brown eyes behind does not so attractive pair of glasses "Here you go."
"How did you do that without struggling?" I asked amazed, and it wasn't because of him pulling up my zipper.
"Magic," he simply said.
"I'm in real need of that magic." After saying that he chuckled.
"My name is Adam" he stood up and started walking off. I couldn't even tell him my name.

Right now is lunch time and I'm walking with Samantha to the cafeteria."So how is your day going?" She asked.
"Is fine" I was looking around trying to see if I could find Adam.
"Who are you looking for?" Samantha stopped me and started to look around too.
"A guy named Adam." I replied.
"Adam Miller?" She asked.
"Girl I don't know his last name"
"If it is him. He is so hot!" She squeal, jumping like a little girl. She reminds me so much of Charlotte from 'princess and the frog'.
"He is handsome." I admitted, of course I think he is hot too.
"Well he is Elliot's cousin, they have amazing gens." She said that like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"Elliot? You mean the asshole who lives down the street."
"That's the one. You calling him an anus makes me believe you already met him."
"Yeah" I mumble.
"Well there's my boyfriend!! See you later alligator" She walks off leaving me there.
"So much for eating together." I walked out of the room to go explore. I wasn't so hungry.
"Well look who we got here" someone said from behind. When I looked behind me Elliot was there.
"Ugh is you" I say sounding irritated. I kept walking to see if I could lose him.
"The one and only." He smiled and tried to catch up with me.
"What do you want?"
"Let me buy you lunch" he grab my arm so I couldn't keep walking.
"No thanks." I took his arm off me and kept walking.
"Come on Lydia, is just a friendly gesture." That made me stop. Pay back is a bítch.
"Ok, but we are taking my motorcycle."
"You ride a motorcycle? No way" he says.
"I do" I confirm.
"I rather take my car." He said grabbing my hand and pulling me to where the parking is.
"No" I pulled back. "If is not my bike I'm not going"
"Alright, alright" he sounded irritated.
-~-~-~-~"Elliot you can let go now." We stopped at a small diner close to the university and Elliot was holding on to me for dear life.
"Oh, we are here." he said trying to play it cool. Looking quite embarrassed actually.
"Were you scared?" I teased him. I was speeding the whole way and made him believe we were going to hit a tree.
"Me scared? Nah. Lets just go in." he said walking in.
When we order we talk about little things, most of them getting me mad but we didn't get to talk much because we only had 15 minutes left until it was time to go to the next class.
Elliot is not as bad as he looks, well as people say he is.
