Lydia's POV
It been a week since I went out with Elliot, I'm trying to keep my distance, not because Adam told me too but because I want too. Adam came back yesterday and he wanted to go to this old place where they had music from the 60's, 70's and 80's. They had a bar and karaoke. He wanted it to be a date but Samantha found out and now she is coming too, so is Elliot.
I arrived at the place, Adam was waiting for me.
"Finally." He said when he saw me, he hugged me when I got closer.
"I missed you" he said after letting me go. I wish I could say the same.
"Where are the others?" I asked looking around.
"Inside" he simply said, he looked disappointed.
We went inside and there they were. Samantha, her boyfriend Michael and Elliot. They were sitting at the bar.
"You are here!" Samantha said giving me a cup, I was thirsty so I drank the liquid, it didn't help.
Elliot was staring at me, I was going to say something but decided not to.
"Who is ready for some karaoke?" Samantha was exited, she got up on the small stage and grab the mic.
She started singing 'don't rain on my parade' by Barbara Streisand.
Samantha is a pretty good singer, everyone started clapping when she was done.
I got another drink and after the bartender gave me I turn around to look at the stage. There stood Elliot ready to sing.
I knew what song it was just by the intro music.
"Wise man say" he begun,
"Only fools rush in, but I can't help falling in love with you" he said looking at me.
I looked at Adam to see if he noticed but he was talking to Michael. I turn around and keep listening to Elliot, he wasn't the best singer but he wasn't that bad either.
God does lyrics were hitting me hard, I think I am falling for Elliot too.
I got up and went to the bathroom. I felt hot, I was sweating like crazy. I turn the water on and washed my face.
I put some perfume, mascara, lipstick and fixed my eyebrows a bit before coming out again.
When I came out I could see Elliot coming my way, my heart started pumping like crazy.
"Lydia, everyone is loo-"before he could finished I kissed him. Yes I kissed Elliot.
He kiss back immediately, I pushed him to the closes wall and kiss him deeper. After a few seconds I pulled away.
"I'm so sorry, I don't know what came over me" I said, Elliot looked pissed at me for apologizing.
"I'm not sorry" he said pushing me this time to the wall and grabbing my face to kiss me.
I was gladly kissing him back enjoying our kiss when I heard someone clear their throat.
Elliot and I stopped and looked at who it was.
"Sorry for interrupting" Adam said turning to leave.
"Adam, I can explain" I said grabbing his arm.
"Explain what Lydia?!" he yelled at my face.
Elliot moved closer. I looked at him, telling him that I was fine.
"It just happened." I tell Adam.
I didn't mean to fall for Elliot. I didn't mean to hurt Adam, honestly.
"And when were you going to tell me? After we were a couple? I told you to stay away from him, he will just use you." I can tell Adam was really mad. I didn't responded, I didn't know what to say. I just let Adam leave.
"Lydia?" Elliot put his hand on my shoulder.
"I'm ok, let's go" I grab his hand and we went home.
"So what now?" Elliot asked. We were in the guest house hanging out.
"What do you mean?" I asked, I was laying down on his bed.
"You and Adam are finally over?" he asked lying next to me.
I got up and looked at him, giving him a 'are you serious look'
"Lydia, I truly like you." He said.
"I like you too." I finally admitted. Elliot smiled widely.
"Say it again" he stood up.
"I like you" I repeated. He threw himself on top of me and hugged me. I pushed him off me laughing.
"Be my girlfriend" he suddenly said. I didn't know what to say, I mean Ill loved to be his girlfriend but I believe is too sudden, I mean I was dating Adam a few hours ago.
"Don't you think we need to know each other more first?" I asked.
He thought about it and smiled.
"Take the time you need, the offer will always stand" I grab him and kissed him. "Thank you" I said
"Now, no more kissing until is official" he said, moving to the kitchen.
"Wait, what?" I followed him "but Adam and I would kiss and we weren't boyfriend and girlfriend."
"I'm not Adam" he simply said, he got in front of me and lean in, I thought he was going to kiss me but he kissed my cheek.
"You're a dick" I said pushing him.
"But I'm your dick" he said.
There was a moment of silent before we both started laughing.
"That didn't sound right" I said still laughing.
"I know, it sounded way better in my head."
