Rey.
The young, disheveled girl was discovered in the outskirts of Coruscant, a short distance from the Jedi Temple. She appeared to be abandoned; her cream robes in tatters and her hair matted and loose. How she managed to arrive in Coruscant in the first place remained a mystery. She was fell upon by the infamous Luke Skywalker, who immediately took her in to the academy. He had felt a disturbance in the force far from the Imperial City, which led him to Dacho District. There hid Rey, with the aura of the Force practically radiating off of her. Skywalker was currently only training his nephew, Ben Solo, but upon finding the force-sensitive Rey decided to take in her as a student. He decided he'd train the two children together, even though teaching Ben was already a demanding task.
Ben Solo could have cared less the moment his uncle- no, Master- brought home the pathetic scrap of a girl. After all, why should he? He was a Padawan, a Jedi knight in training, being taught by the Luke Skywalker himself. He had no interest in learning about the seven year old orphan his Master took in, no matter how strong with the Force he proclaimed she was. To Ben, she was no one.
When Luke announced that Rey was to receive individual training from him, Ben's loathing for Rey only intensified. How could Luke care more about the upbringing of an unworthy, scrawny child like her above his own nephew's? Rage consumed the youth as he used the Force to destroy everything that was in sight of him. When Ben was finally able to contain his anger, his room was in shambles. Nearly all that furnished his room was destroyed, with all his books and their content ripped and covered in the rubble from the now splintered ceiling.
Ben dragged himself over to what was left of his bed, and as he evened out his breathing, insecurity corrupted the remaining sanity of the young Padawan. Was this Master's discreet way of telling him that he thought he was weak? Worse, was this measly Rey stronger and more powerful than he was?
"Wouldn't you like to know?" A voice interrupted his thoughts from the back of his mind, which sent shivers down his back. Ben searched around his quarters, trying to find the owner of the faint voice when his eyes suddenly make contact with another pair.
"What are you looking for?" A different voice spoke, it carried confidence among its native accent. Ben gazed at the small figure standing in the doorway. He was successful at finding the owner of the voice this time; the girl who ruined his life.A/N
The moment Kylo Ren faced the girl he's heard so much about was the same moment I fell for a ship that has now grown into an obsession. I've been a huge fan of Reylo since Christmas Day when I stepped out of the movie theater, and I'm honestly quite surprised at myself for only now creating a Reylo fan fiction. I've finally joined the bandwagon of Reylo writers, and I cannot wait to see how writing this story will go.
