Jack alone went up the hill
Not to fetch a pail of water,
Stupid Jack just fell for Jill;
That's why they're not together.
Then Jill came in, with a grin
And saw Jack crying like a river,
So Jack smiled to hide his pain
And decided to be friends forever.
