It was a wish that came true, my heart belongs to you

You told me you love me too, your love for me is true

I was surprised to know, for a long time I love you so

But that love is bittersweet, my life is full of regret

My heart belongs to you, but I belong to someone else

Now I'm feeling blue, I'm cold, it's you I really wish

I want to hold you in my arms, I want you to beside me

But my hands now are tied, and this love can never be

If only I could go back in time, a time when I was free

I want you standing close to me, but it's just a fantasy

My sad eyes close and I dream, In my dream I scream;

I was suffering, my heart, tormented, breaking dying,

I cried as I wake with someone, someone who loves me,

But that someone is not you, I smiled but I wasn't happy.

My heart, it's beating, it's living, while I am dying

Our love it's fading, and you told me that you're leaving.
