"Night Harley" Charlotte said for the 50th time that night.
All I could hear is a muffled response in return but I knew it was along the lines of 'you hang up.'
To which she replied, "No you hang up." Followed by a giggle and the curl of her hair.
This went on for a few minutes until it went silent and I lifted my head up from my book to see her shocked face.
"What are you looking at?"
"The girl that just wasted quality minutes of her life being the 'no you hang up girl.'" I dead panned.
"Well he hung up, so you don't need to worry about me causing your ears to bleed- until tomorrow night." She smirked.
"Oh god," I groaned, "are you inviting him over? Do I need to pack up all my belongings and ship them off to Siberia because I won't be able to look at them the same knowing that they saw you have sex with Harley." We were both aware of the rules, seeing as this was typically a high school and most of the kids are under the legal age that no boys are allowed in the girls dorms and vice versa.
"Firstly-" she started, "you might want to sanitise all of your belongings." I cringed slightly inside "and secondly you are coming out with me to show my dick of a brother why he shouldn't lie to girls."
"you mean..."
"Yeah he told me the whole 'boyfriend' scenario, which I found super disgusting by the way. So can you come?" she asked with pleading eyes, "pwease?"
"Even if I wanted to go.... I cant I promised my brother that I would go meet his girlfriend."
"Does it have to be this Friday night? Surely you could just go Saturday" she prodded, "I'm sure that you could just tell him that you're too tired or something and then you could ask if you could meet her on Saturday."
"Well it isn't that easy.."
"Yes it is, its only one little white lie, it really is that simple."
Well he did say go this weekend right? And he did say 'stop calling me and make friends'. It could be fun.
Sighing and looking down at the ground trying to hide the smile on my face. "Alright, okay, you win. I'll go with you to the party, but I want a ride home okay? No funny business"
"YES! Party Buddies" she exclaimed and danced around in a little victory circle. "I'll just ask Bailey to drive us there."
"Okay, now will you let me get some sleep?"
"Of course, cant have you running low on sleep the days before a big girl party." She teased with a childish tone. "Night night youngin'"
but it was too late for me to reply, I was already asleep.__________________________
"Why are YOU going to the party this Friday?" Bailey asked leaning over his desk in psychology.
"Your sister is making me." I said in a hushed whisper, I knew that the teachers had it in for me at this school .
"Why do I have to go?" he whined
"You don't, you're the driver, you can go to a bar or something and just pick us up."
"Trinity for the last time stop talking." Yelled the teacher with dramatic hand movements "or I will move you away from your lover boy over there." She snarled whilst the class made over exaggerated ohhhhh's and ahhhh's. firstly it was actually the FIRST time she asked me to stop talking and secondly he was defiantly not my "Lover Boy".
