The game stops and everyone turns their heads to look at me.

"You've never had your first kiss?" Cayden asked first, breaking the silence.

"No." I replied shyly, wanting to bury my head in my hands.

"Like never, not even a childhood first kiss?" Harry asked, past his head the red haired chick was smirking.

"No."

"What were you thinking bringing her here?" Mel asked bailey as he slumped in his seat.

"She only knew four people at this school before coming downstairs tonight, she needs us more than you think."

"I don't need anybody's help." I interrupt, courage bubbling inside me.

"Surely you wouldn't want to have your first kiss like this." Mel assumed.

"I don't even care anymore." I laugh "It's not like it matters anyway."

"It kind of does." Said Harry with disapproving eyes.

"I agree," Says Cayden "We only kissed you on the cheek as an initiation. You might actually be kissed on the lips the next round."

"I don't care." I repeat.

"I don't think you're sober self would like what you are saying." Says Cayden.

"You're going to regret this in the morning." Inputs Mel slightly swaying.

"I'm not a lightweight guy's," I brush off. "I'll remember this in the morning and I will be fine with my actions."

"Okay well you heard it here first," Cayden shouts. "Trinity is one of us." Followed by cheers of initiation and acceptance.

"One of us for tonight, well see about tomorrow.' Harry mutters but I ignore it.

"Okay guys, GUYS." Mel yells over the top of the chatter. "We're going to have a quick break before we start round two." And suddenly everyone disperses into their own little groups but they all have the same thing on their mind, getting wasted. I don't blame them though; this is one hell of a night.

Just as I was about to make my way up the stairs to join the rest of my new 'friends' someone grabs my wrist and spins me around to face them.

"Last time I'm going to ask but are you actually sure you want to continue with the game because you can stop at each stage, I recommend stopping before stage three."

"Lighten up Harry." I laugh, "I'm a big girl."

"You'll be a big cry baby tomorrow."

"SHHHHHH" I mutter putting my fingers to his lips, catching him by surprise, "Just enjoy tonight, I know I will." And with that I step right past him not looking back to see his expression.

Going back up to ground level I was not only surprised about the amount of people still here but the amount of adrenaline I was feeling. Honestly right now I could jump up on the tables and start dancing, and I would've done so if all of the tables weren't flipped over in a destructive manner.

"Where's Charlotte" I yell to no one in particular.

"On the couch in the corner." I teenager slurred next to me.

Without saying thank you I already walk over to her seeing her head buried in her hands.

"Hey, hey." I cooed, "What's wrong?"

"H-H-Harley." She sobbed and I knew right then and there that something had gone wrong. Instead of pressing the issue further I just stayed with her rubbing her back and giving her a shoulder to quite literally soak with tears.

Looking around the crowd the groping has calmed down and most people were sitting around or taking a 'nap'.

Soon enough I saw Bailey emerge from the crowd and rush straight over to us when he sees his twin crying on me.

'What happened' he mouthed.

'Harley'

'I'm going to kill him'

'trade spots with me'

'no'

'you owe me'

"Finnnnneee" He sighed before sitting down next to me and Charlie grabbed him and cried like her life depended on it.

Seems like I'm not getting my first kiss tonight

There are worse things that could've happened tonight, you could've been alone.

I sighed at my internal voices before starting my mission to find Harley and see why Charlie was in hysterics and by herself.

Avoiding the basement steps I made my way into the kitchen and poured myself another drink and soon after I made my way up Jason's stairs and knocking on every door that I didn't hear moans behind until there were three doors left.

I opened the door to reveal Harley lying face down in a room full of those glow in the dark stars.

"Hey Harley." I whisper, "Are you awake?"

"I wish I wasn't"

"Do you want to tell me what happened?"

"Not like you care anyway."

"I actually do care about both of you, that was an unfair call."

"Oh please Ms Virgin lips, probably wouldn't know any gossip if she heard it first hand."

"I'm not here to gossip Harley just please at least flip around and face the glow in the dark stars, surely they would make you feel better."

He flips over on his right side facing away from me and sighs.

"We broke up." He finally states after a few minutes.

"You what?" I gasp out of shock.

"She said we couldn't be together anymore."

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that."

"No you're not." He laughs coldly.

"You can't show any empathy towards me, or her, you cant relate to our situation because you haven't lived."

"when you have your first break up no matter what I'll be there for you because it hurts like a motherflipping butch."

"So then explain it to me." I ask as I sit on the floor in a childs room talking to a natural flirt about what it feels like to be in love with your best friend. The words he spoke are not ones I could easily forget, ever in my wildest dreams. For once all assumptions of each other disappeared and we were just two humans, one in heart break and one mesmerised.

Bailey was right, because this was one of the most memorable nights of my life.
