"So are you going to go back to your dorm?" he asked when we are back in the rust bucket.
I'm too embarrassed and confused to go back but where else can I go? it's not like I can really risk the streets of a night. this is no place for a young girl.
"The offer is still there if you want to stay at my place." he shrugs, eyes focused on the road.
"Thanks" I mutter.
We sit in silence for a while until he breaks the heavy silence.
"I-I lied about another thing." he stutters. " I don't live with my mum in the house I showed you last night. I live with my room mate further out of town."
"Oh so the lies don't stop with you falling in love with your sister?" I mock/
"Ha HA very funny , but you don't get a say because you don't have a place to stay."
"I have realised that. Jerk" he murmers a few incoherent phrases under his breath before turning another street with the screech of the rust bucket soon to follow.
"You'll get used to it."
"the lies or the rust bucket?" I ask"Guess."
______________
The rest of the ride was in silence as I was worn out from all the recent drama until we walked into the elevator that was inside the apartments lobby.
"It isn't real big, don't expect anything special, princess." he said with distaste and I scoff."Oh please 'It isn't really that big princess' " I decide to mimic him in my best man voice which ended up sounding like a hormonal 13 year old boys voice that had first gone through puberty. "This place already looks big for me you are a princess."
"Hmph"
We stepped out of the escalator and once again I was amazed at how lucky Bailey and this 'Harry' guy were to be living here. There were five rooms, of which consisted a bathroom, kitchen, common lounge and two bedrooms. Well that's what Bailey mumbled anyway.
He chucked the keys on the kitchen table and stormed into one of the bed rooms slamming the door "ugh" I hear him yell as i hear a few things smash. A minute later a man walks out of the opposite room. Completely ignoring my presence.
"Er hi?" I try. reviving no answer. He mustn't have heard me
"Hello?" I say louder, projecting my voice across the room to see if he will look up from his phone yet. Nope. So then I just wait sitting down on the chairs that were seated at the kitchen island.
"Look princess, lets get to the point, you need to get out of our house now or get of the seats. I'm not having a pointless conversation with one of jakes fuck buddies, alright and I know you are not going to eat to maintain you weight although maybe that's a good thing for y-?" His words harsh and cold just like his emerald eyes. So i did the only logical thing I could think of at the moment. I went to the stainless steel fridge, opened it and took out a piece of cake that was in there for god knows how long and I shoved it in my face.
"Fuck you Harry I can do what I want."
"How do you know my name?"
"Once again Harry I can do what I want, I can know what I want. I am a person." I said ignoring his question. " I'm not some fuck buddy of his. His sister kicked me out of my dorm so I'm staying here until she calm down."
"Oh so all the prostitutes know my name now." he mutters before grabbing jakes keys and heading out the door. What the hell does he mean by that?
"Don't go in my room" he yells before exiting the building.Great two over aggressive men, I mean boys.
