So the picture if you haven't noticed is Austin butler and I think he is a good stereotype (looks wise) of Luke.
"So are you going back to your dorm tonight?" he asks. I can feel his eyes staring into the side of my head. In all honestly I am worried because they should be focused on the road and his driving all over the place. Thank god no one is on the highway.
"Yeah, isn't it obvious? Where else would I go?" It's not like I have a huge support base at my new school.
"You could err stay at my err ho-" he tried to say slightly blushing and stuttering.
"No need to offer but thanks. I'm going to be a big girl and face Charlotte and Harley well it's not like I did anything wrong anyway." I blatantly lie. No way in hell am I facing her. Maybe I could hide in the closet.... "But seriously thank you for last night" I smile
He mutters something under his breath just before pulling up at a bakery.
"Let's go" he proclaims cheerfully as he gets out of his car. Before I could move a muscle he runs around the front of the car and opens my door.
"Um thanks..." so chivalry isn't dead..
"You're welcome my lady" he smirks. Defiantly not dead.
He is honestly acting like Prince Charming and racing me to the door of the bakery to see who could open it for the other first. He won.
The inside of the bakery is something I would expect from the 1960's. It had white, green and black tiles on the floor with cream tiles on the walls. It had red booths, a wooden bar and a jukebox in the far back of the room. No wonder it was called Happy Days.
Bailey smiles at my look of awe and tells me to pick a both while he skips- He actually skipped- over to the counter to order us some food. He looked over at me for a spit second smiling once again and pointing to something on the blackboard menu.
He chose a cupcake, the man with the mood swings chose a cupcake with pink frosting and some sort of symbol on top that I cannot make out from the booth. I smile at him and give him a thumbs up anyway of which he returns.
"This is not a date just to clarify, so don't you tell your friends that you went on a date with the one and only Bailey." he smirks. "If you haven't guessed I am a hard guy to impress and I only date girls that live up to my standard." He looks me up and down and I suddenly remember I am in the same clothes I had on last night. "and Babe, you Do Not live up to my standards."
Instead of ripping of his head and living under the ground from embarrassment I decide to smile tightly and say "The feeling is mutual."
"Just you wait, you'll be begging for me soon enough, lets go." and with a roll of my eyes I stood up and followed him out of the coolest Bakery I have ever seen and I was ready to 'waltz' back to my dorm.
Until we saw Harley and Charlotte walk into the opposite shop.
"Crap" he says as he kneels behind the metal bin outside the café
"Get down, stupid. If someone says 'crap' and ducks then ducks you should probably follow their lead."
"Why do you think yo- whoa" I tried to say ' why do you think you can tell me what to do' but he pulled me down on the ground behind him and the waste bin.
"What the hell are you doing and why did you pull me down too"
"She isn't supposed to be here" he murmurs to himself
"Why are we on the ground?!?" I continue asking.
"You need to run to the car in 3, 2, and 1."
And with that he lifted me up with the tug of his hand and pushed me in the direction of the car but the feeling of running away felt so good at the moment and I just couldn't stop so I ran straight past the car and blocked out someone yelling my name behind me. I had no idea where I was going. The sensation of numbness was overcoming me and my vision was getting blurry. It felt great. I forgot how good it felt to escape and I was in a good place, sometimes running was my good place.
Until his car arrived on the side of the walkway right next to me.
What am I supposed to say?
Oh hi I'm just running away from you because I'm over this town already?
"Get in the car now." he growled.
or 'Hi Bailey your not up to my standards so I'm going to run away from you now, bye."
"I don't care if I'm not up to your standards you need to get in the car right now because if you die of pneumonia or get murdered I will be sent to jail because I was the last person that was with you in public and it probably doesn't help that everyone around us probably thinks I am a paedophile because I am driving along side you trying to convince you to get into my car." he grumbles turning down the volume in his car. "Seriously get in."
"Your a serious jerk you know that." I ask as I am still running.
"Born and breed." He winks.
"You can't just assume that i'm going to do what ever you say, We both have things called brains."
"Stop making things so difficult."
"Stop belittling me and not telling me the full story." I panted.
"Oh please miss get me in trouble with my si- girlfriend."
"Who's fault is that?"
"Hers, she shouldn't have over reacted."
"We shouldn't been having gobstoppers at midnight."
"You are too nice, it wasnt our fault."
"Is that a compliment I hear?" I teased still panting from the lack of air getting to my lungs.
"I never said being too nice was a good thing."
