Chapter 14: The Pirate Assault

🍰Birthday flash Back part 2🎀

Suzie and I both giggle to ourselves as I grab my plastic sword, telescope and tie my hair in a bun while tying a red pockadotted bandanna to my forehead. Suzie grabs her map and sword and stands at the door. Standing up straight and tall, I call along the lost boys.

"Lost boys! Up and about now, operation pirate assault, I repeat operation pirate assault!" I yell and pull the blankets off them. They all whine and get up from their slumbers and stand up straight, rubbing their eyes in tiredness. Oh and of course it's just pretend, hehehe these are games me and Suzie love the play!

"Yes mother!" I imitate to myself, trying to put on the best boy voices I can for them.

"Here are your swords young ones" Suzie says seriously, passing them a sword each but in reality giving me all the swords and supplies to carry. I can barely walk with all of them.

"Ok, the plan is we attack as they enter the fort base, we do not want them to get past our defences and burst through the secret hideout!" Suzie says. I interrupt her.

"Aren't we ambushing them??"

"No no because they are supposed to take down the door remember?"

I'm so confused. suzie and I can never make up our minds with what plan we are going to stick with. But I guess that's all part of the fun. Suzie sets the rope infront of the door grabs pillows to throw. She makes a pillow defence wall and we hide behind it and giggle to ourselves. I can here Penelope start to whine and complain from behind the door.

"Are you going to let us in or are we just going to stand out here like-"

"Enter you cod fishes!" I say seriously and bossy.

Penelope opens the door and the three of them enter.

"Can someone please tell me what a codfish meannnnnssssss ahhhhhhhh!!" Penelope trips on the rope before She can finish her sentence and her 2 brothers fall on top of her. Suzie and I begins to throw pillows at them.

"Pirates in the base! Don't let them pass lost boys!" Suzie yells and runs to the 4 stunned children on the ground with a plastic sword.

"Wait suzie they don't have swords" I say.

"Oh right" she mumbles and hands them all a plastic sword each.

"Ha ya!" Suzie yells and clashes her sword with Penelope's. I run in and clash my sword with William's.

"Ha haaaaa fight me girly!" He yells playfully and we clash our swords together.

"Who are you, to call me girly!" I yell and fight back and disarm him. Haha, we win! Unexpectedly he tackles me to the ground and steals my sword from me. I try to reach for it but it's too far away. No one takes my sword from me! I try to squeeze out from under him as he is laughing and I kick him in the stomach which makes him collapse and quickly grab my sword and pull myself off the ground.

"Ha, who's laughing now?" I grin but my smile fades as I see William on the ground with his hand over his eye. Ohh....is he okay?

I look over at Suzie and Penelope as they are busy fighting and Suzie disarms Penelope which causes her to trip once more over the rope and her hair perfect blonde curls become a knotted mess.

"No! I don't play silly nonsense like this!" She spits, kicks her sword and runs down stairs. Suzie giggles a little and shrugs her shoulders.

"Not too bad for a rich girl" she mumbles. I turn my focus on William who is now pulling himself off the ground. I make my way toward him and help him up.

"Are you okay?" I ask. He nods and shows me his eye and its black. Ohh no. He must've fell and hit it when I kicked him. Ohh I'm a such a mean silly codfish! :(

"Ohh, I'm really sorry William I didn't mean to hurt you" I plead and rub his eye innocently.

"It's okay...it was sorta funny how I fell, haha, I looked like a floppy Donkey Chicken" he smiles and I smile back while giggling a little and giving him an apologetic hug. Iv misunderstood him. He's not a codfish. He's not smelly and he's not a puddle of wee wee. Suzie and I just need to play fare, we aren't used to others playing our games, it's always been us and only us. He's actually really nice and cute!! Hehe.

"I'm sorry I hit you too" he apologises and frowns. I smile and stare into his blue eyes and forgive him. Mummy always says we must forgive. I fix my bandanna and cough a little as Will and I hold our stare a little too long.

"So I...."

"Kids! It's Birthday Cake time!!" My mummy calls out happily. My eyes light up and a big smile comes across my face. Suzie screams and runs and tries to pick me up. Yay!!!! William laughs and we all run down stairs bare foot. I hear the candles sparkle with fire and mummy turns out the lights as we run down stairs. I see Daddy and I give him a hug and he sets me down on the chair infront of the cake. Suzie squishes in and we share the chair. Nana sits beside me and I smile at her. The cake is a Green fairy, mummy is really good at baking cakes!

"Ohh ohh there are six candles everyone by the way!" Suzie says.

"Oh well done, that's amazing you should win a metal!" Penelope rolls her eyes sarcastically.

"Shut up Penny will you?" Will speaks up.

"How bout you! You woose!" She spits back.

"Enough children! This is a birthday we are celebrating, do not be rude or we go home right now!" Mrs Charles snaps through gritted teeth. "This is not how you behave...atrocious behaviour!"

Mummy smiles and coughs.

"Shall we sing?" She asks. Everyone says yes and I begin to blush shyly as everyone sings and hid my face. OHH I get shy around singing. Hehe. I appreciate everyone being here...and Peter Pan. He's right next to me and he smiles at me with his big grin and starts to sing. Well...I wish he was here anyway....I believe in him. And I'll continue to believe in him Forever, no matter what happens, no matter what.
