The rest of the show was caller insisting it was a stalker, but I honestly had a gut feeling it wasn't. My Uncle always filled Jess and I in on signs of dangerous characters and the signs have yet to show with my mystery man. We were at home now and I was helping Jess pick out a outfit for her date with Tom. There was something nagging at me, but I still couldn't figure out what it was.
“How about this one?” Jess asked holding up a complete sequined dress.
“What are you? A disco ball?” I asked.
“Than you pick. You'd said no to everything I've picked out.” Jess huffed falling back on her bed.
“Yea...” I trailed off
Why was it I was saying no to all her clothes. We had the same taste and we always shopped together so we always approve of each others clothing before we buy.
“Here. This. It's not too much and it's not any less than it should be.” I said taking out a casual dress. It was a good comfie stretchy material that wasn't too thin and clung to the body just right. It ended just above her knees so she wasn't showing more than she needed to as well as gave a cleavage view, but again her chest wasn't seriously patruding from the outfit taking away from her other delicate features of her figure.
“This?” Jess asked unsure.
“It's a casual material in a semi-club dress design. Class it up with some jewlery and nice heels than your good.” I smiled. She still looked unsure. “The purple of the dress sets off the italian tan of your skin also making your brown eyes stand out more. Your not showing too much skin, but just enough to make him more curious as to what's under the rest of the dress. Put on some silver bangles. Let the dress go just off the shoulders and wear your hair down and wavy. You'll be the knock out of the night.”
Jess grinned at my fashion analysis. “Thanks Delilah!” She hugged me.
“Yeah yeah.” I wavered it off heading to my room while she got ready.
A half hour or so later she came in all dressed up in her purple dress and silver heels with her silver eyes shadow on to match along with her other silver accents of the ensamble. Her nails were silver and she had on silver bangles and hoops.
I smiled at a job well done. The door bell rang.
