—Yule Ball—

On the day of the ball, I woke around seven o'clock and ran to breakfast. When I arrived in the great hall, which was now decorated with large Christmas Trees and lights, I plopped down right next to Draco.

"Hey, what colour is your dress? Just so I can match my tie," he said as I stuffed a large piece of my pancake into my mouth. I paused and looked around for something green and tried to chew my pancake as fast as I could.

Finally, I remembered my Slyhterin robes and pointed to it, still rapidly trying to chew without opening my mouth or making cow-like noises.

"Green? Got it, but what kind of green? Light green, lime green, forest green, poppy green—wait. Poppies are red. Uh, emerald gre— emerald?"

I swallowed my mashed food and said, "Yes. It's an emerald green, and poppy green, Draco?"

He shrugged and stuck a grape in his nostril.

"Did you bump your head?" I asked, leaning up to his forehead and inspecting it for any bumps. He slapped my hands put of his hair and flattened it back down.

"No. I just feel happy today."

"So you stuck a grape in your nose? How does it even fit? Do you have a nostril the size of the Death Star?"

"Death Star?"

"You wouldn't get that reference," I told him.

"I understood that refrence,"  said a Gryffindor as he walked passed our table. I merely glared at him and turned back to my brother from Narcissa Malfoy, aka, another mother.

"Anyways..."

"Well, what do you do when you're happy?" he asked.

"I don't know. Hug someone. Jump around with glee. Hang around my dad and make him happy. Run around naked in the common room when no one else is there. Read. Take a nap," I suggested.

"M'kay," he said. For a moment I thought he was going to hug me but he stood up and started jumping with glee.

"Jeez, Draco. You're so embarrassing," I groaned, rubbing my face.

"You love me."

"I wouldn't be so sure about that..."

After breakfast I made way down to the girl's dormitory in the common room to get ready. Since it was only about eight, I showered and dried my hair, then sat on my bed and read to pass the time.

Then, when all the other girls started to get ready around noon, I followed in suit and started to also make myself look like an actual human and not a piece of trash like usual.

I did my makeup first. I applied my daily winged eyeliner only made it more dramatic and smeared gold eye shadow on my eyelid. I then coated my eyelashes in mascara and put on some peach lip gloss to give my lips an extra shine but not so much that they said, 'Kiss me, Draco.'

Honestly, I hated wearing tons of makeup. I normally just wore some eyeliner, mascara, and chapstick.

I decided to keep my hair pretty simple and curled it before clipping my fringe back out of my eyes. It added some volume to my hair also, which was always hair goals, formal or hobo styled.

Once my hair was finished, I slipped on my snake ring and my silver ring that had a black stone in the center in the middle on my right middle and ring fingers. I also wore some golden, black, and silver bracelets.
