—Azkaban Breakout—

*rubs hands together evilly*

At breakfast, Draco stood behind me and put a newspaper in front of my face.

"What the?" I grumbled, dropping half of my pancake to snatch the paper titled something about an Azkaban Breakout. I quickly flipped to the next page to see who had escaped and looked for a specific name.

Bellatrix Lestrange.

I smiled and squealed when I spotted it but quickly masked it with a cough so I wouldn't seem suspicious.

"Look!" I said, pointing to her name.

Draco bent by me and asked, "What'd she do?"

"She's your aunt and you don't know why she's in Azkaban?" I asked. He shrugged.

"Why am I not surprised. Here—" I pulled him down further so I could whisper in his ear, "She tortured Neville's parents into insanity."

He looked at me horrified with wide eyes.

"Isn't she cool?" I asked. He nodded but his eyes disagreed.

"Sit," I said, patting the spot next to me. He cautiously followed my orders and made a plate of food.

"What happened during the last dark meeting?"

I froze and snapped.

"That's none of your concern."

"Did he kill someone?" he asked, buttering his bread.

I bit my lip and nodded. He snapped to full attention and grabbed my arm, pulling me so our noses were almost touching.

"Who?! Did he do it himself?!"

"A girl that knew some of the Dark Lord's secrets and no, he had a death eater do it," I responded, my heart thumping in my chest. I was praying that his brain wouldn't put the pieces together that early in the morning. But, unfortunately, it did.

"It was you, wasn't it?"

I didn't respond.

He wrapped his arms around me and said, "I'm sorry, Issa. You shouldn't have to do that sort of thing."

I pushed him off of me and glared, "You think I regret it? No. I was happy to complete the task for my lord."

"You enjoyed taking someone's life?" he asked, shocked.

"She knew some of his valuable secrets! I have absolutely no problem killing to protect those secrets!"

Keep in mind that we were whispering.

With one last glare, I shoved a strawberry in my mouth and left.

I had the rest of that Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday to sort out my plan. Linda was going to die that weekend and no one was going to get in my way.

"Now I want someone badly!" I sang, dancing around the empty common room. I needed to relieve some stress, so, like a normal human would, I started dancing.

"Got a girl here tonight, I want someone new, someone new!" I continued.

Jeff Buckley was my favourite artist no matter if he was a Muggle. Music was the only exception to anything.

I continued to dance until Melony walked in and laughed at me.

"Well, at least you're a decent singer. It'll block out that terrible dancing," she said, I rolled my eyes and pulled some funky moves that only made her laugh harder.

"It's good to see you happy again," she sighed. I raised an eyebrow at her.

"Sure, you've smiled but they haven't been genuine, Issa. Whether you meant to or not you've tried being happy but your loss was always at the back of your mind. "

"When did you get so wise?"

She shrugged and sat on the couch and I joined her.

"Can I do your hair?" she asked.

I shrugged, "Why not?"

"Really?" she squealed. I nodded and sat on the floor in front of her.

She immediately grabbed a handful of my blonde locks and started twisting them into different braids.

"Draco is going to love this," she said in a dreamy voice.

"Why would it matter if Draco liked it?" I asked.

"Wh— don't you guys, you know, have a thing? I saw you two whispering this morning!"

If only she knew.

"No. He's like my brother, I know him too well to like him like that," I laughed.

"Are you sure?"

"Positive."

"It's a shame, really. You would make lovely, blonde children."

I gasped and slapped her arm. There was no way I would do that sort of thing with Draco, especially with my duties to the Dark Lord.

"You never know," she said, "Maybe you will later on. You have your whole life to fall for him."

I covered my face, annoyed, "My god, Melony. Let it go."

She giggled and twisted my half braided hair into a messy bun before securing it.

"Beautiful."

I rubbed my hands together evilly for literally no reason. This is just a short filler chapter for the next one which is where sHIT GOES DOWN.

Seventeen should be up tomorrow. I'll be surprised if it doesn't. It could quite possibly go up tonight but idk. We shall see.
