I was surrounded by vampires. There were over 100 of them. I was terrified. I saw bats circle in the air and they revealed sharp fangs. I saw smoke coming from somewhere. As if on cue, they moved in synch and revealed a vampire holding a giant torch over a pile of wood. I was confused until I saw who were tied tightly to the wood... Everyone that I loved and cared about.

"NO!! You can't do this to them! Please stop!" I shrieked. My mother, Lucy, Carter... Each one of the people I loved were staring at me with scared expressions. I tried running to them but two very strong vampires had my arms pinned to my side and the pushed me down until I was on my knees. I continued to thrash around but I was never able to get to my loved ones.

They tried forcing me into watching them burn the ones I loved by stabbing me repeatedly with daggers but I refused. Then, I heard my sister cry out in pain. When I opened my eyes, I saw a dagger with her blood on it and her arm dripping with blood.

I felt thirst but the pain was more prominent when my heart broke as my sister was stabbed again. "Stop, stop, stop! Please stop. Please!" I begged them. "Keep your eyes open or we'll stab her again. Making we'll even cut her throat," a low voice roared. "Please stop hurting them and let them go. They never did anything wrong," I pleaded. My face was stained with tears.

"They all lied to you and yet you still want to spare their lives. Even your precious boyfriend will have to suffer the consequences of what I went through when I thought I lost you," the voice growled again. The tears were rushing down even faster as the torched lowered down towards my family and friends; as did my screeching and endless pleading.

Apparently, my eyes were closed for too long because another dagger stabbed me on my back. I heard my loved ones scream in pain as they burned which made me choke and gasp for air. It was too much for me. I wanted the earth to open up and swallow me whole. Better have me suffer than them...

I woke up with a gasp. I've been having this same nightmare for the third time now. I was sure my screaming woke up all of LA. My pillow was drenched with my tears and my eyes were hurting. I walked to the bathroom again and splashed water onto my face. I tried brushing my teeth and washing my face to help calm myself down again but I was too afraid of having the horrid nightmare again.

I decided to bother Lucas because I afraid of Anthony getting mad at me. I knocked quietly at his door and instantaneously, the door opened to reveal Lucas. "I'm sorry for waking you up, I can't sleep," I whispered. "I know," he grinned slyly. I almost died of embarrassment. "I'm so sorry!" I squeaked out. He clapped his hand over my mouth. "Anthony's still sleeping," he murmured.

LUCAS

She was screaming again. It was the third time tonight. I wanted to go to her room and wake her up so she wouldn't have to go through this again, but I was afraid that she would get even more creeped out with me. I was surprised that Anthony could sleep through this all. He was dreaming peacefully about being in some random forest. She was practically screaming. After a few minutes, I heard her quiet gasp and I relaxed slightly as she woke up.

I could hear her crying and my heart broke for her. I wanted to know what her dreams were about but I didn't think she would be able to tell me. I listened to the water running and I laughed at how Anthony could sleep. Her scent was incredibly strong and it was all over my room. Chelsea's crying still hadn't stopped yet. I continued listening to her with my hands folded under my head. I heard her bed lightly shift when she sat on it and I tensed up again.

Chelsea stood up and started walking out the door. I stood up as well to offer her more blood but she quietly knocked on my door. I opened it immediately and saw her beautiful face. Her eyes were red and her nose was pink.

"I'm sorry for waking you up, I can't sleep," she whispered. "I know," I grinned at her slyly. I almost laughed when her cheeks turned pink with embarrassment. "I'm so sorry!" Her soft voice rose a few octaves. I gently put my hand over her mouth. "Anthony's still sleeping," I murmured. Her eyes were filled with surprise.

"How do you know that?" She demanded. "It's my gift. I can read minds and if I work hard enough, I can send certain thoughts into someone else's head. "So that's why I heard your voice?" She pressed. I nodded and I watched her features relax. She looked, relieved?

'What's wrong, beautiful?' I sent through her mind. She gasped quietly and I stifled a laugh. Her hand flew up and smacked my chest. That was unexpected. "I thought I was crazy! How did you do that? I thought I was blocking you out!" She shrieked. After a beat, she clamped her palm to her luscious lips. I smiled at her and carefully removed them.

"It's a lot easier when you're thinking of me," I whispered, gently guiding her to my bed. I sunk into the covers but she remained standing. "It also helps if you are within reach. By the way, if you were thinking of me, it allows my thoughts to enter yours," I whispered. "How am I supposed to block that? I can't just suddenly stop thinking about you," she pouted. I wanted so bad to lean up and kiss her pouty bottom lip. To have her lips molded against mine. For her to want me...

I snapped out of my daydreams when she snapped her small fingers in my face. "Sorry, what?" I asked, confused. "How do I block you out? Not that I want to, I'm just curious," she whispered. I took her soft, delicate hands in mine "No one I know really ever has besides occupy their thoughts with something else. It's actually kind of amusing what they think of to get my get rid of my thoughts, only to realize that I know what they are thinking about," I murmured to her.

I was getting worried when she didn't answer me. "What are you thinking about?" It felt so weird to ask that. "Nothing, I'm just wondering how I can unblock you," Chelsea's voice was pulling me towards her. I didn't even know that I was standing until she leaned against my body and I felt my fingers lightly brushing her hair. Her hair was soft and she smelled amazing. "Chelsea..." I whispered, enjoying her presence.

I gently and slowly guided her to my bed. She stopped short when I sat on the edge of my bed. "I don't bite beautiful girls," I smirked at her. She blushed and sat a few inches away from me. I held back a frown. I had so many questions to ask her but I didn't know which ones to ask. I settled for one that made sense at the moment.

"What were you having nightmares about?" I asked, reaching for her hands. She allowed me to hold them and I squeezed them gently. "Everyone that I love was about to be burned alive and I was being forced to watch," she whispered. Her cheeks were soaked with her tears again and I brought her head to my chest and let her cry. "I just need you right now," she murmured into my chest and her words warmed up my heart.
