"they're so lucky, right?" i asked luke.
"why?" he replied.
"because they found each other! what are the odds of you finding you're perfect pair, you're signifact other..." i went on.
luke leaned on his chair, "destiny will find a way. sometimes you just have to look."
"do you think that'll happen to me some day?" i said staring at the sky.
i felt him look at me, "what kind of question is that? of course you will!"
"well if that's the case, why have i never had a boyfriend since birth?"
he leaned back to his chair and stared at the sky too, "there are a lot of reasons--"
"wow, thanks," i said sarcastically.
"wait, no, let me finish!"
i kept quiet.
"sometimes guys get scared of rejection, sometimes it's because you keep looking in the wrong places, sometimes... it's both."
i looked at him, "you really think i'll find the one? you really think he's just around there somewhere?"
he looked back at me, "i'm sure of it."
