12 :: the car ride

i know i'm such a dickhead for not updating for 2 months i will accept all anger thrown at me

tessa was waiting a taxi but it's been 20 minutes and no one stopped, until one car stopped.

the driver rolled down his window, it was luke. "what are you doing here?" luke said in a rather harsh tone.

"that's none of your business," tessa replied the same way luke responded.

he got out of the car and opened the door to the front passenger's seat. "get in," he commanded.

"luke you don't have to--" tessa was interrupted when luke carried her like she was paper and seated her on the passenger's seat.

"luke, i'm fine you don't need to..." tessa struggled opening the car door but luke already locked it. he got in the car and started driving. "your grandpa's house, right?"

tessa didn't respond.

after a few minutes of driving, they tried to start a conversation but they both started at the same time.

"you first," luke insisted, not taking his eyes off the road.

"no, you go first," tessa replied.

he sighed, "tessa i just want to clarify that i'm not mad at you and i'm sorry for being so selfish."

"but..." he continued.

"but?" tessa asked.

"i still like you. nothing's changed. just wanted to let that out there," he looked down.

i couldn't help but stare at his blonde quiffed hair (a/n: # 1 2013 luke stan), his ocean blue eyes, his lip ring. he just has a really beautiful face, you know? how have i been so dumb? i'm in love with him too.

but priorities, tessa thought.

"what were you gonna say--"

"i was gonna say you look cute when you're serious," tessa said. luke laughed.

"i'm always cute, shut the fuck up," he replied and they both ended up laughing like there was no tension between the two of them.

they finally arrive at tessa's grandpa's house to tell him the good news.

she unlocks the door and slowly opens it to see the horror,

"GRANDPA?!"
