Chapter-18

Cole's POV

Ashley was kidnapped. I am fuming right now and the silver chains used to hold me back aren't helping at all. Bruno is right here in front of me being tended by the pack doctor, and so smug about me being tied to the bed.

When I heard about Ashley being kidnapped I lost it.... and I started thrashing everything that came in my way. So they had to sedate me. What they forgot is that my wolf had been active before it's time so I am stronger than this. I give all of my strength to it and the chains come off. That's more like it. When I left Ashley's apartment I was raging inside. I did not expect this. And I didn't want to hurt her. So I left.

Big mistake apparently because now I don't even know where she is or who kidnapped her. My beta, he called Josh and he is on his way to our territory. James is having a feast with this.

The door opens and in walks the devil. Namely, James. He is followed by Josh. Josh is a little startled at my appearance since all chains are broken. But he chooses to stay quiet.

"I have a plan" he says. Breaking the lifelong silence.

Good. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Alright. Alright.

"So.... what's the plan ?" I ask him.

We all head to my office with Bruno in my arms, when he fell I caught him in the last moment but the impact broke his hind legs.

"They have kidnapped an angel. They obviously know that. So they would also know that she shouldn't be able to draw power from anything. And Angels can draw power from anything holy. Wherever they are.... its not holy or Ashley would have been back. So what I am thinking is that we make a list of all the unholy places in this city and make a plan accordingly to ambush it."

It sounds stupid. But it sounds legible.

"Deal. James make the list."

5 hours later.

Who the bloody hell takes 5 hours to make a bloody list ? Apparently James does. Ugh.... He walks in with a paper in his hand and hands me it. I don't argue with him seeing as it is very less time left. My wolf had been going crazy about not know where his mate is. And quite frankly, I am too.

The first ten names are the names of sex-clubs. I look up at James and he defensively says, "Those are very unholy".

"Well they are kinda unholy. It is possible she is kept there." Prepare 5 groups of people the one with us will have only 7 guys who are our top warriors and the rest with ten members. We will need a strategy for each club. But also a back up plan. What if she is not in the club too.

Let's not think that way.
