Sweetheart (Shy!Len x Reader)

Heyyyyyy. So my friend asked for a Len x Reader while I'm still in this inspiration-filled kick, therefore I am writing it. Enjoy.

Oh, and I'm thinking of making an anime sort of rant/confession/fangirl book instead of putting anime rants in this one. What do ya think??

His small blonde ponytail flips around as he rushes through the halls, pushing anyone and everyone who was in his way into nearby walls and other persons. Dirty looks follow after the boy, but he didn't look back. He was running for his life.

And he saw her. [y/n] [l/n]. The girl of his dreams; the reason behind his running. But his heart sunk a considerable amount after he saw you with another guy. The two of you were talking contentedly, and the blonde watching it all turns away, discouraged.

I don't have a chance.

Len Kagamine has had a rather endearing crush on this girl for quite some time. Every time he saw her sweet face, his heart sped up and his hands went cold. He'd see her strolling beneath the cherry blossoms trees, or laughing with her friends. It was the highlight of his day.

But seeing you speak to this other boy... It put bad thoughts in his mind and a sinking feeling in his heart.

One day, you were strolling through the cherry blossom lane where you normally walked each day. You adore flowers, and loved to see them each and every day.

You could hear your name being called in the distance, and stopped, looking over your shoulder. A young blonde boy came rushing towards you, cheeks flushed. He seemed to be quite breathless.

"Len," you smile, a warm feeling spreading through your body. "Good morning."

"I-I have to talk to you!" Len stammers, turning beet red.

"Oh? Okay. I have a few minutes before class starts. What's up?" You slow down so that Len can walk beside you through the trees of pink.

"L-look, [y/n]... I-I have feelings for you that I've had for quite some time..." Len looks away from you, avoiding eye contact at all costs. "And I-I wanted to ask you to go on a date with me! H-however, I s-saw you talking to another boy..."

"Him?" You couldn't stop the laughter from bubbling in your throat in spite of yourself. "Oh, Len, that's my cousin! He transferred here from a neighboring school... But there's nothing going on between us!"

The look of relief on Len's face was priceless. You giggle sincerely, and soon, Len joins in on the laughter very nervously.

"You're a real sweetheart, Len," you smile, and peck his cheek. "How about that date?"

"O-oh, right." Len smiles at you weakly. "How about tonight at 7?"
